I think Vick would be a better player that Cleo Lemons, as our 3rd QB. I know he's had frequent conduct problem on the field, and off the field. Anyways getting kicked out of VaTech, was the kick in the a** that he needed; I'm buying his story because the guy actually looks humble.
Besides, Saban can put him in his place real quick.

Dont say he'll be like TO/cancer to the team because Miami is the only team even calling him, and because he's not that important.

Again, I am confident in our coaching staff that as a 3rd QB he can really shine after becoming a student of the game, and only as a back up role, not to mention Culpepper, a QB similar to his style, being a teacher to him.

btw Marcus throws better that his sibling Mike

Please... :rolleyes2

Lemon is an unknown at this point and he is still the better choice.

Vick is a criminal.
TO is a cancer.
Ricky is an addict.

I don't want any of those guys on my team.

btw to those who say they saw Vick play against the 'Canes for example, he got owned, got sacked, because he was playing a very good defense, and other tough defenses in the ACC.

I know practically nothing about Lemon, but living in Va. Tech country I know plenty about Vick. He is nothing like his brother and will never be an NFL QB. Might make a prison team one day, though.

would you want Ray Lewis in 07? I know I would.

I know very little about either and can't judge based on talent. Therefore, what I do know is that Vick has made several stupid mistakes and poor choices, and Saban and Mueller felt Lemon was worth Feeley plus a sixth.

Gotta go with Lemon for those reasons alone.

Ray Lewis is an "obstruction of justice-er", I'm not sure where that falls on the continuum. Lemme sleep on it and Ill get back to you tomorrow! Hahaha.

Vick has more upside, but also has that downside. The thing with Vick is that if we take a chance on him and he screws up again, our organization will look like a complete calamity with no real excuse considering all the foresight we have.

Lemon is a mystery and we won't know what he can do until camp and preseason. Saban abviously likes Vick and feels that the initial risks could pay off if we can groom him to be a quality player.

I'm not opposed to giving Vick a shot, but then again, I'm not thrilled with his past. This isn't just one slip up, it's a whole bunch. If he can turn himself around, full credit. If not, I don't want him here at all.

If Vick showed inhuman like potential, I'd bring Ray Lewis in as a 'gimp' like commodity just to keep Vick in check.

the gimp :hump:

Marcus Vick has twice the talent Lemon has. And, considering Lemon has yet to prove anything in the NFL, he might just be the better choice between the two. Of course Vick has some serious attitude issues, but he won't feel so high and mighty when he's the third QB begging just to hold on PAT's.
