Moore although not our future would be exciting.

Agreed Moore is better then th. People are blind as always. I hoped like everyone else th was the answer but we all knew he was a project and sadly a project that is not going to work. I'm ready to move on.

Playing Moore will get us nowhere he has been a backup for a reason ! Tannenhill is young and struggling in a new offense its the coaches jobs to get it to where the players understand and know their roles in the offense! If anything maybe the coaches need the punishment!
Matt Moore is ok but he isn't starter material anymoe and we aren't the only team that knows this if he was he would still be in Carolina!

Did I say anything about Tannehill playing?

No I just used to love that excuse for Henne so when I saw your idea, which I'm sure was a joke I couldn't resist. The wildcat never stopped Chad Henne from getting into rhythm like many, many finheven posters used to say. Chad Henne sucking is what stopped Henne from getting into Rhythm.

no one ****ing said moore was something special.

the difference between moore and tannehill, is that at least with moore, while u will get the same sacks, stupid decisions, etc, he will also move the offense and stretch the field. he is not a robot.

tannehill takes bad sacks, makes dumb decisions, and he never makes big plays.

so ya, that is the difference, with moore at least we will put up pts. no one thinks moore is bringing us to the promise land, but the dolphins can be somewhat entertaining to watch again, compared to what they have been the last 2 plus years

Agree to disagree. I've seen plenty of people here say Moore would lead Miami to the playoffs. Most notably the only guy who liked your post.

No, even he has said over and over again that Moore is average. He just believes Tannehill sucks so bad that he's killing the team. He thinks the team can get to the playoffs with AVERAGE QB play, not SPECIAL QB play. He's said this so many times multiple wouldn't do it justice. Can't see how you "agree to disagree" it's simple reading comprehension.

The downside is that Moore is not a better qb. There is no upside in benching our more skilled qb for a guy who isn't any better and he even knows it himself.
The coaches see these guys every day why wouldn't it just be so apparent if Moore was a better qb.

They play Tannehill for the "potential"...once they see that there is no further "potential"...then Moore and he are on equal footing and Moore is better.

I would start tannehill and see how he does by the bye week. If he is still doing the same then I'd start Moore. I was kinda bothered how Tannehill started over moore from the beginning to me that was a slap in the face for moore

I went with Tannehill. If he and the team lose to Oakland then I bring in Moore to start vs. Green Bay. That game is after the bye so Moore would have plenty of practice reps. Then once Moore shows he isn't anything special I come on this site 24/7 to see the Moore-lovers try and explain what the **** happened.

IMO if we lose to the Raiders, we won't have Philbin as HC any longer. At that point what takes place with our starting QB with the new HC is all a new deck of cards.

Disagree. Barring a 1-7 start Philbin is here for the season. It took an owen 7 or 8 start for Sparano to be fired. Ross is loyal which makes him a good owner to work for in terms of job security. I don't see that changing.

Yes this is the biggest misconception on the site. The folks lobbying for Moore just think he's better than Tannehill and from what we've seen isn't saying much nobody thinks he's:

The Answer
A savior
Something special
A super Bowl winning QB
A sure fire playoff QB

Where are people getting this????????

Then why go with a QB that has no upside?

IMO the people that think RT17 should remain the starter simply see RT's potential and are waiting for him to play to that potential. It may never come. But at least this way if he fails when we have to restart everything we'll have a better draft position than what we may have if we start Moore and we still miss out on the play-offs and there is a new HC running the team, again.

Tannehill, but if he struggles first half with the same old bull**** I yank his ass and put in Moore.

I would start Matt Moore ... I would argue that although it's true that we know what we have in Matt Moore, we really don't know what we have in Matt Moore under Lazor's full playbook. But, we do know what we have with Tannehill under Lazor's full playbook, and it ain't working. Matt Moore is not the franchise QB we need or are looking for, but he provides our offense the opportunity to press the field. I like what Rich Gannon stated last week about stressing the defense. Tannehill doesn't do that, where as Mooore does.

To me it's as simple as asking ourselves do we really want to lose any more games before we see if Matt Moore can be more effective in Lazor's offense?
