Ronnie Hillman will miss the game also.

X-rays on Julius Thomas’ injured ankle were negative Sunday, but the tight end will undergo further tests Monday, including a magnetic resonance imaging exam.

Thomas injured his ankle on the final play of the Broncos’ first drive Sunday in a 22-7 loss to the St.Louis Rams. He caught a 1-yard pass on third-and-2 and did not return. Talk about a double-whammy

It was an ankle injury that caused Thomas to struggle through a slow start in his career. He m
Of the three injuries suffered by Broncos’ skill players Sunday, the most serious may have be to running back Montee Ball. He aggravated his groin injury that forced him to miss the previous five games. He will undergo an MRI exam Monday.

Receiver Emmanuel Sanders suffered a concussion in the third quarter and did not return, although he seemed alert in the postgame locker room. NFL protocol prevents the media from interviewing players who have suffered concussions until they have been cleared.

News: Sanders has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Rams after being diagnosed with a concussion, according to Lindsay Jones of USA Today.

Impact: Sanders took a nasty hit to the head on a deep route near the sideline and struggled to get up afterward. The injury comes at a tough time for the Broncos, who had already lost Julius Thomas to an ankle injury and Montee Ball to groin issue. Sanders did have a solid game before going down, catching five passes on eight targets for 102 yards and a touchdown. He'll have to proceed through the league's concussion protocol before returning to practice, putting his availability for Week 12 against the Dolphins in question. Wes Welker could see more targets in Sanders' absence, with Andre Caldwell another possibility for increased work.

News: Ball (groin), who acknowledged he that didn't feel right after his first few plays in Sunday's loss to the Rams, said afterward that it's "hard to tell" how much time he'll miss, ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports.

Impact: While this nugget does not provide much clarity with regard to Ball's availability going forward, the running back did not immediately downplay his injury, which suggests that his Week 12 status is cloudy at this stage. Oh he done !

News: Thomas will undergo an MRI on Monday after X-rays taken after Sunday's game against the Rams on his injured ankle came back negative, the Denver Post reports.

Impact: Thomas suffered the injury on the Broncos' opening drive, and while he was unable to return to the game, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the team does not believe it to be a high ankle sprain, which could have sidelined Thomas for a number of weeks. No go next week, no way no how...

When you wish injury on an opponent, they seem to happen to your team.

I DO think with them playing KC the week after they might judicious with some players. I think Sanders will come back. Ball won't. Thomas is 50-50.

there fixed it ! take that **** back man!

Btw the hit on Sanders was clean...Another penalty to look at by NFL Rules ...Guess the defender just let's him catch the ball.

I betcha the two receivers play next week the more I read about them.

how much longer until somebody comes on here and says if we cant beat a healthy broncos then we dont deserve to be in the playoffs? You know, other than me sarcastically.

Sucks for them professionally and I hope them all the health in the world after next week. A win in Denver next week would be a huge step for the fish getting into the playoffs so Ill take it however it comes

If they lose to us this can't be used as an excuse for losing by their fans. If they beat us their injuries won't necessarily demean their win. Teams always have players to step up in place of the ones that they loss. Teams that have weak role players don't do very good.

Whatever weakens the opposition increases the chance of our victory.

Only people who carry rabbit's feet, talisman, 4 leaf clovers, etc. believe in the childlike superstition that wishing for anything good or bad changes anything.

Especially since we have lost Michael Thomas, Ellerbe, Brandon Albert, Moreno, our rookie TE, AJ Francis, all for the year, and Finnegan for the denver game maybe. It's not like they are the only team trying to overcome injuries.

Those Denver guys wished injuries to players?

they may play but I am thinking they wont be used as much. If they had smart coaches, they would limit there reps. which they wont, they will wear there team down by playoffs.
