Pennington, :shakeno:.
Henne I don't mind being starter at all.
Beck,my choice, I'd love to see him start so he can display his positive talents.

Who would you prefer to see as the teams Week 3 starter?

Pennington. Why? He's our throw away QB. I wouldn't be opposed to Beck I guess since he could potentially spread the field and has a year experience. Henne I think is our future and I want to do it right this time and groom him to be the franchise.

:sidelol: Beck?

Sorry to laugh, but I think we have enough problems without worrying about the center/QB exchange.

Pennington if we put Henne in there the Pats will blitz all day long and do things to confuse him. Henne still has more to learn beofre starting.

Let Penne start and Henne can mop up as needed. I think by the midway point of the season we may see more and more of Henne. Gotta trust the coach to decide when Henne is ready.

I would start Pennington, but if he's struggling at the end of the first half, I wouldn't think twice about yanking him in favor of Henne....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

The Pats are going to tear Penny up, we have no concering Wideout's threats, NE runs a very good defensive scheme and are solid on defense & they know Penny inside-out & side to side. I see this game lost if we Penny starts. IMO, Beck would give us the best probability to win even if it's not that of a good chance, the Pats haven't seen much of him in the NFL, he played solid during last year's preseason, make's some great throws, his decision making and fumbles are obviously some fixable flaws he showed to us during his limited playing time, but seriously aside from the stupid fumbles, I tend to believe his bad decisions were because of hurried pressure or he just had no one to throw to due to our WO's lack of creating separation. Beck would have the benefit of the doubt if he plays this week, NE wouldn't go 8 on the box like they would against penny, john has a sufficient strong arm and superbly accurate to make NE play 2 safeties over the top, therefore using it to our advantage and pound the ball through the ground.
As for Henne, I just would see him struggling, sure he would gain needed experience versus a very good D, but I just see us having the worst chance this week if Henne starts.

Start Beck!

You have to start Pennington; he does have experience playing against the Patriots, and that's why I'd give him the thumbs up for the next game. If we're getting blown out after the first half, then you have to think Henne or Beck.

I get the feeling that we will get blown out. I mean, we just faced Fitzgerald and Boldin. Now we have Randy Moss as our next challenge.

Though the Patriots' haven't been scoring much their first two games, but that could change against us, especially with our weak secondary.

Pennington. Imagine throwing Henne to the wolves this early. We kinda did that to Beck, admittedly after 9 or 10 games, and he lost some confidence. If the same happens to Chad P, it will be another waste of a 2nd round pick.

Leave Pennington in for most of the year, unless he gets injured, and let the team develop a bit more.
