Is there a link to this conversation? I find it hard to believe that Saban would go up to any player and plead with them to do something rather than tell him.
I don't have the link now, but that's a fact, Saban had expressed many ways he wants flexible players, and TE is a must.
Coach want some transformer TE who may become a WR, an OL, a FB and in tricky plays even a QB.
So i figure Randy may be so confused with that multi role and functionalities in this new offensive scheme, but Saban wants that kind of players in order to have multiple formations within the same group of players.

What are you AJ's mom? who calls him by his full name besides his mother when he's in trouble :roflmao: :roflmao:

Someone who wants to take a serious point of view of our QB.
In my point of view that AJ, KJ and other initials turns players name into babies'.:cooldude:

brock berlin wont make it sage is better, minor is gone because KJ harris is going to take his spot, should keep Thompson for this year, and donald lee has a slim chance if they bring someone else in

I hope Berlin will make the team in order to push Sage and upgrade the position.

I also think Minor won't make it because of the way he played last season.
I understand our OL was soo poor and he isn't Ricky Williams, but he should have played harder. In many plays he stopped his legs even before any defensive player have touched him, it's basic for a RB to keep moving the legs even when they hold you.:fire:

I am pulling for Gilmore! I think given a better chance this kid will be another threat that teams will have to at least think about! Give him regular reps, and I think his hands will get better, due to playing time, and get used to the quarterback!
I still remember his TD catch versus Bills.:cooldude:

Alot of these guys probably will be on practice squad. Thompson because I dont think Newson, Gilmore or Davis can challenge him for the 3rd or 4th spot. The running backs though is up for grabs. Harris may beat out minor. Who really knows till the pads come on.
Maybe somehow before, 'cause the new playbook maybe harder for many of them.

Lamar Gordon is a special case because Nick may use him as a starter if RW doesn't comes back.

Huh? We drafted Ronnie Brown to be our starter at rb. Why else would we have used the #2 overall pick on him?

I'd really like to see Alex Holmes make the team.

Donald Lee should be on it, but he could get cut.

Gilmore should also be on it. Davis will depend on whether or not we sign a vet WR. Derrius walks onto this team, IMO.

KayJay has a very good chance to make the team.

There is no doubt that Saban wants players to be versatile and fill multiple roles on the team. The part that I was disputing was the part where McMichael refused to do his part of the blocking because this is a contract year. Although we all know McMichael was pissed on several occasions last year when he wasn't used as a playmaker, I'm sure he'd be more than happy to block if he knows he's going to get his # called more than just once. At his position, he could be our best weapon in the passing game.

Im not in agreement with any player thinking they need to get more balls thrown their way. Or doesnt want to get his hands dirty in the trenches. If Randy is that kind of player, I dont want him on this team. I dont care how much talent he has.

I'm trying to change the way i see our QB by knowing his name (Adam Joshua), so i did the same for a potential RB. ;)
r u serious

That's how Saban is acting.
