I 'am very confused about the center starter, in your opinion, who will be our starter center in next season, mc kinney, hadont after a move to center or a rookie (degory or eslinger or other) ?

Mckinney is our center, and alot of people on this message board seem to be allright with that. I for one would love to trade down with numerous teams that are interested in trading up to us and then Draft one of the best linemen in this draft.....Nick Mangold. Then we could get a late round G to backup who houck likes and then we can start talking about an OL that is great instead of average or below average.
 
I am not okay with McKinney starting at center. In fact I wish they wouldn't have resigned him. I would rather see Hadnot there or bring in someone else. McKinney is terrible.
 
McKinney is still our CENTER - today ....

Hopefully, he won't be come SEP !!

Either way ... he provides at least 'some' measure of protection in case we can't come up with a better option by the end of camp !! I just don't believe that HADNOT is our future CENTER. His short arms handicap him too much for that position.

No one knows what SMITH, Draft or camp signings might bring ... but one can certainly HOPE !!
 
Looks like Mckinney at Center with smith as a back-up. We could possibly use our third round pick on a center.
 
Seriously, McKinney is our center for now but when camp starts watch out. We all believe Houck will "put the best five on the field" or however you phrase the cliche. Does that mean moving Hadnot to C, Carey to G and McIntosh to RT????? Does Smith come back from his broken arm and make wholesale movement on the line unnecessary by outright beating McKinney???? Does Houck's coaching take McKinney to the level many of us thought he could reach (there seemed to be glimpses of that happening at the end of last year)????????? Or does a draft pick come in and cause a shuffle either at the beginning of the year or during it?

More speculation at this point than information and by next week we'll have tons more.
 
there are some steals in this draft....Max Jean Gilles in the 2nd? Mike Degory in the 7th??? how on earth did Degory slip so far?! but if we can acquire a 2nd, id take Max Jean Gilles.....if Degory is still there in the 7th, id take him in a heartbeat. Houck can turn them both into star players.
