Who's going to Canton to see Dan Marino?

I was lucky enough to go to his HOF induction and actually got him to sign a helmet for me and it was just me and him.
 
I usually go to Canton for the HOF game ... I'll be there again this year. We park in the same guy's yard - It's a helluva party!

I was there for Dan's induction. One of the events I attended was the HOF bruncheon, and while I didn't get an autograph that day - I did get to shake the hand that threw for 61,361 yards and 420 TD's

It was a pretty good weekend for me. :up:

So you're driving from Indiana? I'm coming from Syracuse NY. 5 1/2 hour drive and well worth it to see the Man.
I've toured the Hall a couple times the last 5 years, it's a great place and the Dolphins are well represented.
 
Never made it up to the Hall of Fame so it should be a pretty cool experience for us. Well worth the $199 fee to meet one of the greats
 
Got my tickets today. Driving from Jersey Thursday night. Staying until Saturday. Pretty excited. I have to thank you for the post about it. I had no idea.

Great! This should be a fun experience. Got my white panel football ready to be signed.
 
I was there for Dan's HOF introduction and my dad and I are going to this as well.
 
Only tickets for the autograph session remain, the 2 speaking sessions are sold out. Two more weeks, can hardly wait. Got my 1995 Marino jersey all set to wear.

This is complete BS. I was in Canton for the Marino HOF induction. The talk of the town was that Marino had signed an agreement with Tops, to only sign Tops merchandise for the week. Was obviously discussed among all of the fins fans attending becaus everyone was hopeful for an autograph that week.
After the night session the day prior to the induction, I caught Danny coming out of the conference hall and I had a stitched 84 white Wilson hanging over my shoulder, ready for a signature. Danny couldn't sign it, and even elaborated why he couldn't to me and my old man. So either you a full of it or Danny was. I have a feeling I know which direction the FH jury will be leaning.

I got him to sign my then-girlfriend's chest ... too bad I didn't keep them. :rimshot:
