Czonka, Marino, Zach, Jason were all faces of the Miami Dolphins in the past. With the face of the team gone now, who will be the face of the Miami Dolphins in the coming years? Do we have any one player who sticks out or will we be faceless for awhile? I would say Ronnie, but he gets hurt way too much

Why does the face of the franchise have to be a player? Right now it is Parcells and done the road maybe it will be Sparano.

I have a feeling though in a year or two though that it could be Chad Henne.

Yeremiah Bell will probably be the captain and if he's healthy, he can become the face of our franchise.

I think if one were to step up quickly, as in this year, it may be Joey Porter. He is a veteran who has no problem saying what he thinks and getting in players faces. I think this off season has put him in position to take over the leadership/face of the franchise role. With Zach and Jason here Porter knew that it was thier team. Porter has been re-vitalized by the new staff and can only think that his and staffs personality mesh very well. Later on, I believe whichever QB stands up and takes the reigns could very well be the face of the franchise, its just a natural way things pan out. The QB normally becomes the face of the team. Beck, Henne, and dare I say McCown, I would hope one, will step up and take the reigns.

a couple years from now my pick is jake long. let's hope it's a qb as the face of the franchise but right now my gut says jake long

Ronnie Brown at the moment is the only one of those mentioned so far to come out of last season with his reputation inhanced.

He is the face of the franchise at the moment IMO

Joey Porter becomes that face of the defense. He won't be the face of the franchise but he clearly is the leader and cap. of the team as of RIGHT NOW. face of the franchise will be Ronnie of which every QB steps up. Any other player is out of the question.

I have to agree with that one. Its either Ronnie Brown or Jake Long, because this team is gonna be run-heavy for a while.

i have been following the dolphins RELIGEOUSLY since 1971
and this is the FIRST TIME the franchise has been WITH OUT
a true STAR or FACE. player OR coach!

ricky isnt the draw he was 5 years go. now if he busts off a
1800 yd season or close to it this year, he will be a prominant
face, but i dont see him alone filling seats just for him.

sparano? i dont think he will reach shula or JJ status anytime
soon, even if he does turn out to be a good coach.

there are NO names on defense.

NONE on offense [ronnie brown will NEVER be a huge,
national draw]

NO qb of ANY significance.

THIS TEAM is SORELY lack in real talent, even
with the turn over parcells has done so far.

and i dont see anything on the horizon for some time
unless we make a chad johnson trade or something
like that.

this could all get ugly real quick in miami folks! no
names to fill seats, and put another losing season
on that and its TITANIC part two!!

the fin "fans" dont fill the stadium most of the time
anyways and if parcells wouldnt have come here,
the iceberg of last year would have sank the ship.

the life boats still better be prepared with the lack
of a face or big talent coupled with fair weather
fans skipping games at the stadium.

The person you speak of will be determined during the season. Or, it could be Henne.. who will likely only sniff the field in a blowout.

Patience... this is something we should've endured a few years ago.

I never said it has to be a player. I was going to say Henne, but until he gets some legitimate receivers and we don't rely on our running game he won't put up good numbers

I think guys like Ronnie Brown, Vernon Carey & Ginn will be the future faces of this franchise.

This post made me laugh so hard. I would have to say its Ronnie/Ricky on offense and Joey P on defense.
