Just wondering if anyone heard anything yet on Gus.If you were the coach and Gus is clear to play, who'd you start guys? I think Nick will start Gus if healthy for one reason....now he feels that he can bring in Sage and win but he doesn't know if he can bring in Gus and win it.
Ozzy rules!!

if he thinks sage can win it why not just start him.. maybe im missing the point??

Nothing has been said regarding this. It will probably be announced in the later part of the week.

Nick Saban can not start Gus again. Unless, Sage were to get hurt in the remaining games, Gus Ferotte will never play again for the Miami Dolphins or any of the few teams he hasn't been on yet. BOTTOM LINE: SAGE CAN GET THE JOB DONE, GUS CAN NOT!

I will be shocked if Sage doesnt start. There is obviously a good chemistry between him and Chambers. We saw the chemistry this game, and they hooked up at the end of the KC game too. Sage needs more opportunities to show what he has. Miami can win with him starting. My guess is that Sage starts. We should hear something by mid-week.

Funny thing is, after the Brown's lost, no one didn't want to see him see the field ever again.

Before the final drive, Sage and Chris were talking and making up plays for the next drive. Gus, A.J., and Jay never did that.

Yeah, I noticed that, too.

Gus has played decent this season. Give him a little credit. Miami was much worse last season. He is not a season-long starter though. Everyone knows that. Gus played as well as he could against Buffalo today. The O-line couldn't stop the blitz for most of the game. Gus took a beating because of that.

I like the idea of having Gus ready to come in if Sage can't cut it. Gus knows the offense if Miami needs him. Sage looked good today. He is quite capable of playing the rest of the season out.

I think sage proved he could get it done, he ate up Buffalo's starters when Gus could not. If Sage does not start then something really stinks in Miami

the only thing that worries me about starting Sage is wether we'll see the Cleveland Sage or the Bills-Chiefs Sage

What Sage did for this football team was incredible. I don't see how you can't start him, but our coaching staff has managed to surprise me many times. The way the offense responded to him and the way he drove the ball downfield was incredible. I'm not doubting that Gus is the smarter QB and can better avoid a blitz, but Sage has physical tools and was able to put the ball where he needed to. He also succeded where Frerotte constantly fails: inside the red zone.

Let Sage air it out. They babied him way too much in that game. I have no problem getting our backs the ball, just dont be so darn predicatable and let the QB do what he is paid to do.
