would you give up a first round pick to pry Harbaugh frim the 49's?

If it meant he actually wanted to come here, and would coach the team? Yes. No hesitation.

We've given up a first round draft pick for a good head coach before, and it was worth it.

No doubt. Harbaugh took a 6-10 team to the nfc championship game in 1 year with the same players. He went to 3 straight championship games and a super bowl appearance. Plus he played QB so he knows how to develop QBs.

Eh, I don't think we'd need to. The Browns almost got him for two thirds, remember? The divorce there is imminent. The 49ers really don't have much leverage.

Plus the chances are that our first rounder is going to be a reasonably high one.

I would definetely give a first round pick for harbaugh......I bet you it would be a better move than what we did last year in the first round.

Well agreed that we won't need to give up a first, most likely, but the question is would I be OK if the Dolphins did it. And yeah, I definitely would be.

Hell no. The Dolphins still need a few more players, and trading players away for a coach is foolish.

Dolphins don't need Harbaugh. They just need someone better than Philbin.

We wouldn't even be having this discussion if they would have hired McCoy. You see what he is doing in San Diego with less talent except at the quarterback position.

That would be an Ix to the Nay. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even exchange a 3rd for him if one of his conditions is grabbing Wanny Saban type oversight control. It's working out so well for Jeff Fisher.

Well would I part with Jake Wrong, Vontae Davis, Jared Odrick, Mike Pouncey, Ryan Tannehill, Dion Jordan, or Ja'Waun James for one of the best coaches in the game? Hmmmmmmm :ponder: YES!

My point exactly.. our track record with 1st rounders isn't stellar enough to make me think this year will be any different.

I'd love a stud head coach, I'm just concerned arrogant blowhard harbaugh's act only lasts for two or three seasons before it wears thin.

I'd give up Jordan for him...he's a 1st...kind of...
