, who re-signed with the 49ers, implied to Bay Area writers he never seriously considered Miami and visited the Dolphins because “I had never been to Miami Beach and thought it was a good way to see it.” Lovely....
Drew Rosenhaus
told WQAM's
Joe Rose
that "maybe there's a chance [Yeremiah Bell] will come back to the Dolphins," but that there is interest in him elsewhere in the wake of Miami releasing him Tuesday.

LOL

Sounds a lot like the 18 year-old high school kids who list the University of Miami as one of their top five schools.

Paid vacation.

I guess he thought that was a better answer than "I was butt hurt that the 49ers were exploring better options at the position so I went to Miami to scare them into loving me again"

No better explanation than Ireland on the qb's. He has so much faith in Moore he brought every avail free agent qb to replace him lol

just another example of why a lot of people question Ireland's judgment!

Well to be fair Im sure Philben has his doubts about Moore also. Maybe to him his numbers were better than his perfromance im not saying I feel that way. I have no faith in Moore but he did play pretty well. I would say I think all three qb's would be upgrades but smith and Flynn not huge upgrades. Personally I think our free agent turn downs and his spin do make ireland seem pretty inept this offseason. I have no real problem with Garrard but too many on this board would blast our enemy the jets if they had done the same thing

It was obvious we were both using each other.

I don't think either side was going to seriously come to the negotiating table.

Wow.. that was pretty disrespectful of Alex to say something like that. What a clown. To think I was rooting for him to succeed.. sheesh. Hope Colin beats him in the preseason now.

Did he even go to Miami? Coulda sworn he flew into Fort Lauderdale Airport, Visited Davie most of the day and stayed overnight in a Plantation hotel.

People r so full of **** nowadays.

two things we learned about alex smith.

a dumbass cus he turned down the offer he had just to get another mil out of them. I guess you could call that a win but it makes him look silly.
and he is a dumbass for expressing his views on it while continuing to look like a dumbass.

we live in the twitter world now. It is very deceiving.

Some people refer to that as due diligence. Its kind of like a job interview before you offer someone a lot of money. I don't have problem with the Phins bringing in as many QB's as possible. Doesn't mean they need to sign them all.
I felt all along that Alex Smith had little interest in the Phins. He's a west coast guy and was just acting like someone on the rebound.

I doubt the Fins where seriously interested in Alex Smith so the feeling was mutual between the parties and leave it to the media to bring it quickly to our attention that he used us.
