I love Flynn at LSU, all he did was win football games.
IMO, the HUGE difference between the two is that one will cost the 8th pick in the draft (and most expects think he will be gone by the #8 pick) and the other is a UFA and will us us nothing but money. Money is money but early draft picks are GOLD.
We sign Flynn and we can take almost any other needed player we want, from WR to RT to pass rushing DE/OLB. We spend the draft pick on Tannehill and we have little we can add to him, plus he is going to be sitting for 1-2 years behind Moore. Or he might well be forced to play too quickly. Remember, he only play in 20 games in college.
And again, since odds are he will be GONE by our pick, this whole conversation could be moot.
The other big factors is that Flynn has A) Experience as a NFL QB and B) Experience in our new head coaches offense.
If we cannot get Flynn, I'll plug my choice again:
