While people are busy fighting over Tannehill and Moore with an occasional gripe on Philbin, they completely fail to acknowledge the actual source of the problem with this team, and that is all Ross.

Ross has hurt this team in ways previously unimaginable. Celebrity ownership, mishandled coaching hires and poor management have created what you see on the field. The emphasis is on creating a party atmosphere around the team...not something winners respect.

Serious coaches and managers believe Miami is a joke. Ross disgraced the team with the Harbaugh debacle causing serious candidates to snub the organization. This leaves only scrubs from which to hire. Hickey is supposed to be the savior here, despite being universally panned when hired. Ross' inability to know who, when and how to hire and fire will keep this team mired in mediocrity until fans finally wake up and start placing blame where it belongs.

One problem: Ross can't be fired. So we are stuck with him unless he decides to sell which is not going to happen.

I've been screaming about Ross for years. Seen several others do the same. He has mismanaged this franchise in so many ways I've lost count.

He won't be selling for years...

The Real estate market is kicking ass and he doesn't need the money from a Dolphins sale.

Actually, if attendance falls enough, the league will apply pressure for a team move or new ownership. The NFL hates all those empty orange seats.

Also, while Ross can't be fired, fans can certainly make a lot of noise about their feelings on the owner. Enough persistent complaining may lead to Ross getting out of the game.

We can wish, right?

LOL. Unless Ross pulls a sterling, nobody can force Ross to sell.

Parcells fault.

Who cares about the guy in the luxury seats, it's the the coaches and players who affect Sundays. Case in point out last owner had Shula, Johnson, Saban, and Parcells and it all led to disappointment. Owners don't suit up on Sundays.

While you are correct that no one can make Ross sell, don't underestimate the amount of pressure the NFL can bring if they feel that the Dolphins are doing damage to the brand. A sea of empty seats makes the NFL look bad, and they will apply pressure to Ross to get it fixed. While they can't make Ross sell, they can make ownership so miserable that he does sell.

The NFL could not care less if there are a lot of empty seats in Miami. They have bigger problems to worry about. We are stuck with Ross until he sells or croaks.

yeah ross is the reason we lost talk about delusional

Ross hires the GM and head coach. He picks the people who draft and gameplan. Consistently getting these decisions wrong leads to coaches who lose the game with bad gameplans and time management, underachieving or talent bereft rosters, etc. Through the perspective of a single game, you have a point, but season after season of the same results falls on the owner.
