That would have been the right move, too bad he wanted no part of you. Still I listed some of the 06 Dallas offensive weapons and the only comparison to the present day jets is that they all wear helmets.

(but i assume, unlike Peyton, Haley did extend the courtesy of returning a Woodie Johnson call. :idk:)

I dunno how an "excuse" could be construed as factually pointing out that someone merely called the plays responsible 2/3rds of the offense that were designed by someone else to players trained and coordinated by someone else. But maybe that's just me.

There are no excuses remember? The Jets own the Dolphins in every category imaginable. Team colors, stadium food, city linguistics. You name it (and have), the Jets are better.

I don't know what to expect of Sparano as OC but I highly doubt he is as conservative as an OC as he was a HC.

I saw Sancheze make critical throws when had to. I am afraid Fitz is going to be a decent QB . I am waiting for Moore to make the crititical throws when he has to. If he can learn to do that, he will be a good QB. BTW nobody hates bills or jets. More than me.

He's an OC now not a HC, in his only season calling plays he ran a top 5 offense.

Your Ols were good enough to have excellent run games inn3 of his 4 seasons.



The Jets never went after Peyton, HOF QBs don't shake free often and they explored their options. The entire offseason has seen them make moves w/ Sanchez in mind. There was no chance(unless he came for incredibly cheap) that the Jets would go after Peyton.

Peyton never openly denied the Jets, don't confuse us w/ the dolphins who thought they were getting Peyton.


The Jets extended Sanchez, he's helped us to 2 title games in his 3 seasons here. In his "bad" season he posted his best #s and helped us to 8-8 which dolphin fans would do cartwheels over if you ever won 8 games again.

This team is at their best w/ distractions. Do we forget our HC was exposed for swapping his wife and foot fetish videos in 2010? add in tripgate, the mexican reporter, etc... and they still made the title game. The problem in '11 is that I don't think we had enough distractions:D

Sanchez gets blame when they lose, he was terrible down the stretch. I give him the credit he deserves, he HELPED the Jets reach 2 title games and he helped the Jets miss the playoffs in 2011. You guys act like he's Chad henne or AJ Feeley.

No, Moore was not better than sanchez and Fitz. Moore came into a situation where he had no pressure to win, Moore has had multiple chances in this league to start and has only succeeded when he had no pressure to win(much like Fitz). Sanchez has been the QB of a team that made 2 title games in 3 years and had a "bad" season at 8-8 which is better than Fitz and Moore have ever had.

Matt Moore is a great solution as a backup QB and not the worst solution as a short term starter, he's just not a guy you can win w/ or should build around. Don't make the same mistake Buf did and overpay for a good backup to be your starter.

As TEbow who could have gone to challenge Gabbert and Henne, decided that Sanchez was the weakest link and best path to full time starter, let's see how Sanchez finally performs under pressure when someone is actually on the field and realistically could take his job away if he again craps the bed like he has in the past. Between the flirtation with Manning (well, flirtation until Peyton wouldn't even return Woody's call), and a QB who the fans will be cheering on and rooting for, I think finally those days of Taco being coddled (as his own players confirm) and enabled are grinding to an end.

I never said he was a good OC for Dallas, he called plays for part of oe year and they had success. I honestly have no idea what to expect from Tony, I onyl like it b/c we will focus more on the OL and protecting the QB.

I have never once said Tony was a good OC and Tony as an OC is very different than being a HC. You can't compare what he did as a HC to what he will do as an OC, two completely different jobs.
