2/3rds of Tony's offense was Haley's designed passing plays to Haley's Receivers. And even on the running plays, Dallas had Marion Barber and Jones together accounting for over 1700 yards, not Greene and some other shlub. :idk: Then again Sanchez is not Bledsoe or early Romo either ferwhatitsworth.
And even then, Tony got demoted from calling plays once Jason Garrett was hired. Them's the facts.
IMO, Tony's ability as a potential OC is less reflected by having part of a season's success with Haley's plays and people including TO, Glenn and Witten, and more with standing cluelessly on the sidelines and continuing to sanction, enable and actually defend Henning's calls which were so predictable that the opponents were laughing about expecting 80% of them. But I guess we shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, as the expression goes.
