I was reading a article on the injury of Michael Lehan and read this: "Lehan left the practice bubble with an ice bag around his right ankle." Why would they be in the practice bubble? There was no rain today. Just the heat. We are going to loose the only advantage we have playing in Miami. THE HEAT! If they dont practice in the heat they will not beable to play in it. If you remember back in the day we always started the season really strong because teams could not handle the heat down here. Anyone else think we are loosing our home field advantage?

I hate that damn bubble. Saban left us a crutch that must seem irresistible to those northerners and all it's going to do is make us a softer team.

Well the weather is the last thing keeping this team from winning football games, that i assure you. I agree the bubble was a bit excessive, but i doubt it is going to hurt the Phins because they aren't conditioned to the climate. They spent a lot of money on that thing, and they intend to use it. I think nowadays with players making so much money they just want to keep the players, who have become investments, as happy and healthy as they can, and certainly as we've seen in recent years the practice in the extreme heat can be dangerous to players. Look at Kory Stringer.

thats why they've had a stricter offseason conditioning program than ever this year

I have no problem with the bubble, we get a lot of rain down here in the summer so it's not a bad idea to have it.

I remember when teams would play and practice in the rain. The rain has only been a problem recently.

The practice bubble was built in part due to the fact that a few years ago florida was hit by several tropical storms and a few small hurricanes. During these times practices had to be cancelled. The fans in those years agreed it was a smart move.

I still think it is a smart move. Remember, that buble can simulate real game situations like crowd noise etc etc.

Well for one it's really hot 90-95 degrees and we have not had any rain for a while. The bubble is a nice cool 72 degrees. It will be great work for when we play teams in domes.

The first OTA pictures were released this afternoon.

Practicing in the bubble definitely gives the offense an advantage...

Actually I went to a practice inside the bubble last year and they had the a/c off with no air circulating and it was quite miserable just standing there

Here in Florida the main problem is afternoon thunderstorms during the summer with dangerous lightning. I think we have the record for the most people injured by lightning.

I think they want to get everyone comfortable with what there suppose to be doing than toughing them up. They have all summer for that. Using the bubble once or twice a week is not a bad thing.
