As I spent numerous time searching the internet and reading about our season, our need and our team. I concluded that we are selecting a MLB. I know James Laurinaitis was on Don Banks mock draft but I dont see how Cushin is going to fall for us at 25 neither is NT BJ Raji. Taking a WR at 25 is to high were there is value in second round. I like Juaquin Iglesia and Ron Brace as NT in the second.

Please , correct me if my way off this possibility.

After Cushing's SR Bowl workout he has probly jumped Sintim which is good for us. I think we go OLB or CB in the first. If we lose crowder we may look at an inside LB, but i think we go CB or OLB in the first.

center/nose tackle/CB/DE/wide reciever
in that order or as the best fall to us in the draft

Really, I could see them go:

1. Sintim
2. English

If it fell that way . . . they will stack up on lb's if they like them. And there are alot of talented potential 3-4 OLB's in this draft.

They aren't drafting Lauranitis . . . he is a 4-3 MLB . . . I had Spikes as the pick but he went back to school and Rey Maluauga should be gone. There are some guys later on we could go after like Brinkley. We could chase after somebody in FA, or even keep Crowder. I have totally given up on ILB in the draft in the first round unless its Maulauga.

we are definitely getting an ILB somewhere in the draft no matter what.... matters what is around and available... OLB, i would rather go for English than Sintim.

I personally would rather upgrade at safety before corner too, Delmas obviously i love and much of us do. I'm checking out Patrick Chung more too, trying to figure him out as well.

Offensive Line... we definitely need someone in the middle... Antoine Caldwell???? Kraig Urbik???

Nah, I see us going for a FS like Delmas at pick #25.

center/nose tackle/CB/DE/wide reciever
in that order or as the best fall to us in the draft

actually with the report that satele played this whole season with a torn lebrum, i dont see us drafting center with #1 pick anymore... satele played good before the injury in his rookie year, he will nly get better

we should go after Duke Robinson if we go O-line in first especially since Both our startiing Guard had bad injuries this year and our backups didnt do the best

It really depends who is available, we still have a LOT of holes in this team. Our talent level isn't up to 11-5 despite our fortunate season.

I think if Laurinatis is available he will be the pick. People who think he is a 43 MLB aren't giving him enough credit. He can play OLB in the 43 and easily be a great WILB in the 34. He is a leader, very instinctive, durable, and has the fantastic size/speed/strength that makes the trifecta drool. He can easily be a perpetual pro-bowler in the 34, as well as the heart and soul of a dominant defense for a decade. He is THAT good. I simply don't think he'll fall to 25, but if he does, I'll be ecstatic if we pick him.

Cushing is a monster--no doubt. But, he is seriously injury prone, and for that reason I kinda think Parcells & Co. will take him off of our draft board entirely. Sintim, on the other hand, could easily be our pick at 25. He is good at everything, dependable and durable, and he is well versed and successful in the 34. He has the size/speed/strength that we look for in an OLB as well.

I don't think English works for us, he's not quite the prototypical OLB we want, and he's not an ILB. Maluga will not be available when we pick.

So personally, unless Laurinaitis falls, I doubt we go ILB in the 1st round. It wouldn't surprise me to see an ILB drafted after that though.

 Nice job. I would love it if we got Laurinaitis, natural leade and will be good for many years to come.

i agree, wouldnt mind laurinaitis... i know the questionmarks on him, but i wouldnt mind getting him. one thing that i did not like was when he pulled from the snior bowl... that was a little sketchy, might hurt his drafting too.
