Why are we playing the bears?

Why is it we're playing the bears in tonights game? It's the hall of fame game so why night the 49's or something? Does anybody know why?

I'd say that's the reason. If you put them against the 49ers it's two Modern inductees, this way it's an older inductee and a younger one.
