I just took a look at the **OFFICIAL CHIEFS VS DOLPHINS THREAD**. including me, there were 2 posts. Usually official threads are busting out the seams with posts. Are we not focusing on this game and looking to next week? I have a bad feeling that this is going to be a trap game. We cannot lose focus. Take one game at a time.

dude, this team just found out they HAVE to win out to make the playoffs after the ravens win. Theres no such thing as a trap game when each player knows they have to win.

trap games happen when you assume you don't have to win. We NEED to win, and I'm certain every player knows it. Especially with watchful Bill overlooking them.

I dintu nderstand why everyone keeps saying trap game, when every player has said they will approach this game like a playoff game. Houston was a trap game tommorrow will be an *** whipping by our Miami Dolphins. Im out!

I feel your pain brother....not sure why the Jet game is even being mentioned yet. If we don't beat the Chiefs the season is over....one game at a time....lets get #10 then start talking about the WETS!!!!

Corrected: If we don't beat the Chiefs the season is LIKELY over.

NO OVER....we have to win out! No more chance at a Wild Card

Unless the Pats lose a game. Not that the team should rely on it, but if the pats lose either this week or next week and the phins beat the Jets, the Phins get the division.

Anyway, the reason the game thread didn't have anyone on it is that it usually doesn't get comments until close to the game.

As to "one game at a time", that may be fine for the OP and other fans. Hell, this week I actually am not focusing on the Jets game. Still, why does everyone get so up on this? As has been pointed out repeatedly, we are not the team, so really, let people be fans the way they want to.

Dude, "we" ain't the ones playing. LOL. It isn't anything that we think or say that will affect what and how MIA plays today. Chill out. Stay focused now...."we" aren't playing, the Dolphins are...

Thank you for saying that Mr. Ed. That's just about the most intelligent thing I've ever seen posted on this board.

We only get to talk real good smack 6 times a year about our division rivals and early on those games really don't mean a whole lot except pride. Next weeks game has EVERYTHING on the line against the biggest losers of our division and the fact that we could close the door on their attempt to purchase a SuperBowl is the sweetess Christmas present ever (Gholston sucking is a nice stocking stuffer!!!).

So I'm sure you can figure out that is a good reason no ones talking about a throw away QB in Thigpen, an over the hill TE, a whiny RB, a so-so Oline and an average defense.

it seems we've struggled to beat such teams recently. can't take them too lightly.

We're gonna be in a tight ball today, I know that. That's the way we're built right now, I'm just saying that the NYJ's game brings out the passion like no other especially when there's a tonne on the line.

If we can't pull this one out today then we really don't deserve to be in the playoffs anyways don't you think?
