I think it's ridiculous that people jump down CC's throat every week. Did he have a bad game outside of a couple plays? Of course he did. However, I saw a lot of positives. I thought he improved a few aspects of his game that just weren't there previously. I mean, he went up aggressively and pulled that first TD in, right? Chambers' biggest problem this year has been his lack of aggression. I also thought there were a lot of plays where he came back to Frerotte, rather than previous games where it seems like he'd give up on a play that just wasn't there. No excuses, he still should've caught a few more balls, however, where's the blame on McMichael?

Everybody here swears Randy is so clutch. Remember a few years ago where he missed two key blocks in a row and caused us the game in New England? I'm sorry, but if the idiot didn't fumble away that great play (a RARE good throw by Frerotte), who knows if we'd of been in the situation we were in? We were up 7-3, already went down there and missed a FG that Mare would normally make, and we had a great chance to go up 14-3. This screw up by McMichael caused a HUGE momentum switch in this ball game. If Chambers is so inconsistent, then what the hell is McMichael? Coming into this game, I've seen McMichael miss more catchable balls than Chambers this year...he's far more accurate when it comes to beating his wife.

Get off of Chambers unless you're planning on getting on McMichael, Linehan, and the defense as well..

mcmichael drops balls all the time, we're used to it.

I thought Randy played decent yesterday. At this point, im not really blamming anyone. It's just that type of season where no one is stepping up.

McMichael could learn from Welker...

Make the catch hand the ball to the Ref...next play....NO Song and Dance...

Simple, I dont blame McMike for the fumble.. It was a second effort.. He wasnt touched, so he did the right thing and tried to get up for more yards.. Unfortunately, the Patriot defender made a GREAT play and punched the ball out of his arms once he got up.

That being said, I too think people are overreacting a bit about Chambers' play..

I don't put that fumble on mcmike at all. He was trying to make a play and help his team win. He wasn't down, he was getting up with a clear view to the endzone. I was screaming for him to get up. The defender got up made a lucky/great play. He was trying to keep him down, and somehow got a hand on the ball while mike was trying to get up.

Actually, this year, McMike has been more consistent than he was previously. I used to B(@*% and moan about his lack of focus all the time, but he's really gotten much more consistent this year.

Where the heck are you and Agua in the upstairs section? Nabo is tearing me a new one there!?!? :rofl3: I kid. NaboCane pointed out that it was not the right situation for Randy to make that second effort. There wasn't enough seperation in coverage for him to do so. He should have just stayed down.

First of all throw the few years ago crap out the window. With that comment its like your tallying all that he does wrong. He, remember when you got an F on your english paper 10 years ago? I mean that point is just not valid.

A lot of balls i have seen this year have been overthrown to McMike. Last game I thought he played well make some nice catching and doing his role fine. The fumble was a great play by the defender. McMike did the right thing in trying to get up for mor yards. You play until the whistle stops...

And the beating his wife part... well do we really wanna go there? Can you name me one time where he was convicted of that? Anything you say about what he does is speculation period. The first altercation, he called the cops. I repeat, HE called the cops. The second is still up in the air but i believe he has not been charged as of late. Don't take a low blow on a guy especially when its a false statement. :shakeno:

I can't believe people are actually PRAISING McMichael for fumbling because he "made a second effort" :shakeno:

The point is EVERY SINGLE ONE of our recievers needs to be more consistent and play better, they all drop balls and make boneheaded plays.

if he had whined like a little girl to the press and demanded a meeting with Saban and then dropped 4 balls including the game winner maybe I would get on him. Would Moss or Holt or Harrison or hell even Welker have caught that ball? I think so. Chambers deserves it.

Too much of a big deal is being made about the comments that were said during the week...even Saban and Chambers said it was a misunderstanding.
