Why aren't they using McMichael?

The last couple games the're using him more as a blocker than as a receiver. Whats up with that? You give a guy a large contract....and don't use him.
If you watch him during the game....he looks like he could chew nails. Is he in the dog house....or is this a lacking part of the OC play calling?
 
Until last week, McMichael had a TD in every game. He cant do it every game. Dont you think a team like Tampa and their defense would scheme to try and take McMichael out of the game?
 
I agree, McMichael isn't getting enough balls thrown his way. He is really reliable at keeping drives alive with short-to-intermediate catches.
 
you could say the same about all our weapons cept our RBs....all Ferrotte is doing is dinkin and dunking....hes missing our WRs and TEs....

Your talking about touchdowns....and I'm talking about throwing him the football...the first couple games he was one of the top tightend receivers...lately...he's invisible....I believe in the Panthers game...he had maybe 2-3 throws his way.....he's not being used correctly.
 
R.McMichael 19 rec 200 yds 10.5 ypc 30yds lgst 4tds

In 5 games Randy only has 19 receptions....thats 4 touch's a game....thats crazy....he can double that easily.

Even Ronnie Brown has 13 in 5 games.....geez.

Not only can he, with his talent, he should be getting a lot more touches. :up:

The highest average in the league is LJ smith averaging just above 5 receptions per game. So he isn't that far behind in terms of touches. So I don't see the problem here.

Maybe instead of throwing 50 yd bombs into double coverage....they should use a weapon instead? Anytime a receiver draws double coverage....that should leave Randy one on one with a linebacker....I'll take that....any day.
 
McMike has to be left behind to block. If it wasn't for him and Ronnie, Gus would probably be in the top 5 for sacks. Our Oline is worse then it looks. It has nothing to do with him being in the dog house or the OC playcalling.

You can't double team the tightend....if your double teaming a receiver....50 yds down the field.

Then you lose....because Randy is the weapon the Dolphins need.

truth, McMike and Ronnies subperb blocking and blitz pick up has saved gus's life so far.
