It is apparent the larger percentage of this site would prefer Brian Schottenheimer over Cam Cameron. Now I don't really know too much about Brian Schottenheimer, what makes him a better candidate than Cam Cameron?

Cam did rather poorly as a head coach at Indiana and he may not have the personality to be a HC (based on the reported unimpressive interview in St. Louis last year). Also his success at SD may be due to the great talent he has while Brian was succesful with inferior talent at NY. Finally, I've seen quotes by Brees, Rivers and others lauding Brian and not as much about Cam.

Sorry, you're gonna have to look around some other threads. This point has been argued countless times and I'm not about to type out the Brian Schottenheimer Manifesto for the umpteenth time.

Everyone saw Tomlinson praising Cameron last weekend at halftime during the playoffs. Haven't seen it for Schottenheimer. Either one would be fine with me but let's no go overboard here with your enthusiasm for Schottenheimer. He was a student of Cameron's for 6 years after all, it's a bit hypocritical to think Schottenheimer would be a good coach and Cameron wouldn't.

Then don't post in this thread. Thanks for your time. :boohoo:

I read them here (maybe on VIP). Feel free to look for them. And it's not hypocritical b/c I posted several reasons why I prefer Brian.

Well it is clearly cause the NFl is a copy cat league. Dolphins fans have seen what the young coach has done for the Jets, not realizing that Mangini had a pedigree that can't be matched by Schott jr. Not to mention that Mangini was the architect of the O that Schott jr was running.

neither one of them is proven...i'd prefer mora.

And what exactly has Mora proven? Other than that he'd jump at the UW job if it was offered and that he is beyond stupid with the media, a certain radio interview coming to mind...

Read about Schotty's pedigree here: http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/sports/football/nfl/16370337.htm

Oh, and by the way, I see you Jets fans drooling allove Mangina's scrotum and cant help but laugh.. Remember when we were slobbering all over Saban's "genius" last season in bringing our squad to a 9-7 record.. Ya, you might see your team fall back down to reality next season..

In fact, Bills fans warned us of this too when they experienced the same thing with Mularkey a season prior... They were right.

LOL @ you thinking Mangini was the architect of any offense.

watchin san diego-pats game... cams makin some nice calls, hes an intelligient guy and i dont think fins lose whether they pick cam or shotty.. no to mora, he had the most athletic qb in the nfl and did nothing with him

Ha....yeah...thats it....and you guys copied NE. whats your point?

Bellicheck on Schotty:

HEMPSTEAD, L.I. -- Although Bill Belichick begrudgingly complimented Eric Mangini, he heaped praise on the Jets' offense and coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.

"It (their offense) is definitely more challenging," he said. "They have a lot of different personnel groups. It's hard to see the play until the ball is actually snapped and a lot of times you can't recognize it until after the play has started.
