He does what he can moving around in the pocket, going through his progressions. If he had a little time to throw we could see the franchise QB we have in our hands.

He has no pocket to work in and this O-line is just bad. Plus Buffalo has maybe the best D-line in football and they seem to know our blocking scheme...I mean if you can manipulate the blocking by the O-line to where you end up having Kyle Williams trying to be blocked by a running back (Daniel Thomas) that's a win for the defense.

To me it seemed that Sherman learned nothing from the first meeting, he did nothing to counter what he knows that D-line could do.

The line is un talented.
Buffalo has one of the best front 7s in football.
The Bills picked up on our line's cadence.
We did nothing to get Tannehill to roll out of the pocket.

All of that equals 7 sacks and a running game that resembles a slow walk.

The Players on the O-line just aren't very good. McKinnie and Clabo are old and just not very good anymore. Jerry has never been very good. Brenner was a practice squad player and while he has played well overall he gets pushed around at times. Pouncey is solid but hasn't been dominant at all. Add to that the fact that the offensive coordinator doesn't even attempt to adjust enough when his guys are getting their butts kicked and the plays he is calling are going nowhere.

He's done nothing to counter anything at all this year.

There was noway for Tannehill to roll out of the pocket buffaloe was bringing the DEs stright back on each side and they were domanating our middle ,with alot of pressure up the middle as well there was nowhere forTannehill to run .

You know, though, I thought he had some opportunities to roll or scramble right and he never did, except the one time in the end zone when he threw the ball out of bounds.

Wow...what a difference a month makes.....flip flop much???

Tannehill is not the guyYes another one of these threads. He is simply NOT THE GUY. He is probably an above average QB. But he will NEVER make that step into Teir 1 QB status. His pocket awareness isnt' even taken slight steps forward, and that is what will hold him back.

As well as the fact as when he faces the blitz he stairs down his primary and throws the ball to him no matter what, and is usually picked off or batted down.

That's the cold hard truth, and no one should be saying otherwise. By now he should be showing signs of improvement in these areas and he just is not.

I'm doing this on purpose to show how no one gets upset with me when I blame everyone but ryan. The fact that no one can tell how ridiculous my statements are about ryannis ridiclous lol

I'll be honest up front. I have had my doubts from time to time about Tannehill and have questioned whether he was or wasn't the guy for the job. After seeing what he has gone through the last 4 or 5 games, I am completely convinced without question that he is the qb we need. I have full faith that he will lead us where we need to be. We must fix the o line, and with that, improves the running game and gives Tanny some time to throw the ball. You could put any of the greats behind this line including Marino, Elway, Manning and Brady and they would struggle behind this turnstyle of a line.
