3 yr turn around for the Vikings with Spielman no less! WTF is our problem?

Oh I'm gonna probably take some flack for this. I liked Rick Spielman. His biggest problem was the doofus running the show who should have never been given GM responsibilities. Without that moron, we might have gotten a decent QB (Hasselbeck) to go with that team.

Vikings have a so/so offense....and Bridgewater / Bradford aren't anything special at all.....but they are dominate on the defensive side of the ball and have excellent coaching.

We are dominate nowhere and the coaching is still to be determined.

I will say this... We beat NE last year and Brady was playing. We almost beat Seattle and NE. This team can yease us and show signs of greatness for 2 or 3 games then let us down. We need to determine why we cannot play on a consistent basis (defense amd offense). Of course we've made some really bad decisions (draft & free agency) but the problem goes deeper than that.

We have an owner obsessed with having a flashy passing offense instead of a fundamentally sound football team. That's how we've been building our team for years instead of focusing on having a tough defense and a solid running game.

Safe to say, it hasn't worked for us so far.
