Why couldnt ANYONE predict this?

What happened to this team? I cant think of a single person who can claim they honestly saw this coming.. This offseason, most every analyst had us challenging the patriots for the division.. I dont think anyone predicted a losing season..

On paper, this team looked good.. Did we all overlook the O-Line? Or does it have more to do with Culpepper's failure to regain old form?

Why couldnt anyone see this coming?
 
....its why they play the games every sunday....nothing is a 100% certainty.

bro, ive asked myself that a few times. how could i not see this coming? honestly. now that i look back at it, we should of seen this coming. i think most were just to excited for the season, along with Culpepper and the 6 game winstreak, we all just got ahead of ourselves.
 
it is really, really true. I can't remember a team hyped so good to be so bad!
 
hmmm I recall my getting flamed for saying the 6 game win streak was decieving that we weret as good as everyone thought....did I see this disatrous start? no way....Am I suprised? not at all
 
i honestly felt that because of the hype that we might start off shaky, like maybe 2-2 or 3-1 but winning barely and then pick it up but i did not see it this shaky at all.
 
I don't think anybody saw this coming, they are just underachieving right now.
 
Bills fan here....

Trust me that I am not capping on your team....and I know this must suck to be a fan of a team with such high expectations...

But I DID see this coming...and told you before the season started....this reminded me of the year when my bills when 9-7 and then went in the toilet the following year.

You guys will bounce back though...it wouldnt suprise me to see the fins finish the 3rd quarter of the year strong.
 
They are being lead by an idiot QB thats what it boils down to! PUT IN JOEY!!
 
I have been in shock and denial ever since the last loss.

Did I think they would win the Super Bowl..no - make the playoffs - maybe?

Is it Saban? I don't think so...this is a bright man

The game against the Pats will tell us all if this is a bad team or a team that just hasn't been able to put it together.
 
Yea and all the same people predicted the bills and jets were going to suck and be at the bottom of the divsion also and look who is at the bottom US!!!!:fire: i will never fall into the hype again.
 
It's a combination of reasons. (1) We were an overrated team coming into the season. (2) We didn't have a great O-line to begin with and the injuries at guard slowed us down. (3) Dante dosesn't get rid of the ball fast enough and makes poor desicions. (4) Mike Malarkey sucks at calling plays and lacks balance in his play calling. (5) The defense is getting old and when we call the blitz they can't get through and we get burned.

Honorable mention- Just my opinion but the loss to Pittsburgh left a sour taste in people's mouths. We could have had some momentum if we beat thw world champs but Dante choked under pressure.
 
Its Because the Media and analysts, after the six game win streak and off season additions, took the Dolphins and put them in a catagory of a super bowl contender...And the sad part about it, is that 99.9% of fans, including me, bought into it....But the blinders are off now arent they....In saying that, I'm still scratching my head...Aside from the O-line, we look real good on paper..And I'm sure the talent is there..But we just cant put it together. Lets all hope is tightens uo sooner than later
 
remember how jason taylor said he didn't want to be "paper champions" the guys who look good in the offseason and then suck during the regular season
that's whats happening
