why did it take this long to hire mueller?

we've made a ton of player personnel decisions since saban took over, ones that had mueller already been here, he would have no doubt influenced in one way or another. so basically we probably got rid of some guys mueller might have been against, or picked up/drafted some he might not have recommended. will his hiring at this point mean anything for the guys we have already added this offseason? also, he probably wasn't nick's first choice if we waited this long to hire him. so did we settle or what?

i dont think anyone we picked will be affected whether he was here or not....

we may have settled but we will never know....

i dont htink we waitd this amount of time by choice, Nick was probably working on this for awhile

How do we know that Mueller wasn't advising Saban when all these roster moves were made? Its funny how he was hired so quickly after Spielman resigned. Something must have been in the works previously.
