Right before buffalo kicked theif FG to make it 20-14, we called and burned our first timeout of the half? Why? What type of adjustment would have to be made on a FG attempt?

With that TO, we could have stopped the clock and got the ball back with over a minute of time instead of thirty or so seconds at midfield?

So what was up with the call? It was costly.

Lindell is anything but money at that distance...

He was icing a kicker who sucks at that range, and then hoping to get good field position.

I would've done the same.

Guys on the radio said Dolphins had too many on the field and had to call a timeout.

We called the timeout because there were too many men on the field. We were trying to run one off, but he wasn't going to make it so they called the timeout.

Nay... we had 12 men on the field if I remember correctly. If we were trying to ice the kicker we would have called the timeout right before the snap. But we called it way before that.

They had 12 men on the field. It only makes sense. They've only had 9 weeks to know who is supposed to be out there................

Calling the timeout then was'nt a bad thing. It saved us 30 seconds (because the Bills were gonna run the clock before kicking) and it let Lindell think about it for a minute or two.

Yeah just add the TO to the big list of mistakes we made....to lose by 6 after playing like crap is disappointing....time for Saban to chew some *** and seriously cut back on penalties and turnovers.

It could be worse. You could have called a Timeout on a 58-yard FG in Atlanta, watched the kick sail wide right, and then watch the retry sail perfectly in for 3 points.

We weren't trying to ice the kicker. We called it when he just came onto the field. When you're trying to ice the kicker, you let everyone line up and then you call the TO.

Lindell SUCKS at kicks over 45 yards.

7 consecutive misses of 45+ yards. i would have tried to ice him too. im VERY surprised he made it. but if you had 12 men on teh fied, then calling a time out still makes teh kicker think about it.
