Ok, I thought this guy was some what promising and we desprately need someone to help Ronnie develop. So we get another dose of Travis Minor untill Ricky comes back. I didn't even see Minor in the pre-season (excluding special teams plays). I think I have seen enough of Travis Minor and a sub-par offensive line last year. God I pray that Ronnie lights it up and fast. I can't take another year as poor as last year. :fire:
I just want some opinions and an answer.

We have Chatman and Morris as weel, and they are good back-ups.

Well, we have Jesse Chatman, Sammy Morris and Ronnie Brown.

Ricky returns week 5.

I think we are o.k. at running back.

Gordon is a stiff. Minor is a more valuable player then Gordon. He plays special teams (very well), is a backup returner in case Wes got hurt and can catch the ball well.

Exactly, and not only that, Gordon showed absolutely nothing as a Dolphin.

I would've thought we'd trade him for a low draft pick instead of nothing. But oh well, what's done is done.

Somebody buy this man a beer, he hit it right on the head!:xii:

Wow. That speaks volumes about Sabans opinion of players Rick Spielman brought in

Hmm...you think so? He cuts Gordon and STARTS Marty Booker, Rex Hadnot, Vernon Carey, and likely would have started Poole if not for his injury.

Yeah...Rick SUCKED. :shakeno:

mostly because he sucks

Saban has some particular ideas of what a player should be, Gordon, for all his whining didn't show himself to be anything more then a camp body. He drops at first and even at phantom contact because he can't keep his feet. We have some depth at running back and I would rather see the roster spot used for depth on the DL, we could use another serious "widebody" for the 3-4. All in all though, I think we cut him, mostly because he sucks.:D

Because he stinks like a turd.

someone had to go. I figured it was a coinflip between Minor and Gordan

What was the reasoning behind cutting Gordon when it had been posted here a week ago that the Eagles had offered a minimal deal to Miami for him?

Even the world's worst golfer doesn't whiff every attempt.

When they finish 18 holes after 175 strokes, no one praises them or pretends they are skilled at the game.

Rick Spielman made the turn in well over 100 yet still maintains supporters here. Scary.

Again, where is the rest of the story? Spielman apologists conveniently leave that stuff out. Marty Booker cost Ogunleye, a young Pro Bowl LDE. Carey cost an extra and wasted 4th along with the #1. It's like praising someone for acquiring a Kia for $75,000.

Ogunleye is nothing special. The Carey move was done. He took risks.

Other than the Feeley deal he didn't make many terrible decisions.
