well considering he wasnt too great for us, and the pats offered a 2nd and a late pick for him. He wasnt gonna resign with us so we took there offer. If he had been used "correctly" in our offense, he would have been a stud and never gotten traded

That's not entirely true. We would have gotten a 2nd for him anyway because they put a 2nd round tender on him. The 7th they threw in because we traded him instead of making them sign him to the huge deal. Now I could be wrong here, but I seem to remember the Pats getting him a lot cheaper because of the trade.

Yea that's what happens when you sign a tendered free agent to a contract the other team gets compensated. I assumed ppl knew that. Pats did get him cheaper too. I wish we would have called the bluff too cause it would have been close to being guaranteed for them.

Welker is good but cmon, reason why he is putting up these numbers is because of Brady and the patriots offense. I bet anything that if the patriots had bess, bush or marshall they would be putting up godly numbers.

Do you honestly think Wes Welker would be putting up the same numbers here than he is in NE? Put Devon Bess in the slot in New England and he'll look just as good as Welker does now. Better Quarterback and Better Coaching = better situation. No way he gets 16 catches for 200 yds in Miami.

Again, go check the ones who got the gif, it wasn't because they thought Miami would finish 5-11. It was how and what they posted. I didnt post if for even being down on the team, just how they posted it. actually I never said we were going 0-16, never said henne suckked balls and i talked about cleaning house last year when we collapsed and still got the gif. Not bothered by it some on this site have disagree with me for a few years and I have even won the stupid azz debbie downer award for which i am grateful, got to test vip, so feel free to award me again. My problem is when a team has gone 14-21 over the past three years and 1-9 at home in the past two why shouldnt I be able to criticize my own damn team. I mean by any standard 14 wins and 21 losses is not good.

dont agree that Bess would be as good as welker. welker gets no credit but before welker went to NE who was putting up these numbers there, ill answer that for u nobody. In three games this year he has 10 more catches than any other wide reciever. I mean if its all bRady why hasnt anybody done it with brady besides Welker.
