Why did we have to work on the CBA this year.

Really why did we work on it this year I thought we had 2 more seasons with a salary cap left.

The cap, for some reason, was set to expire after 2006, not 2007.

I dont understand that. Now teams really cant structure long term contracts without knowing what will happen next year.
