Why didn't Martin attach a name to the sister quote?

How come its an "unnamed" Dolphin. Obviously it isn't Cog and obviously they know who did it, but why wouldn't he just say who it was? Does he think thats protecting that individual somehow or does he just want that person to sqworm or is it quite possible that it was in retaliation to a series of texts between the two?

Martion is sucha tool. There were so many wrong parties here, but just Like Mckinnie said what exactly is his attention here besides to get a big pay day?
 
The fact Martin is willing to drag his sister into this is very very revealing as to what is truly going on here.

If someone said something like that about my sister and I felt they meant it, the last thing I would ever do is reveal such a thing. I would never expose my sisters to that. I love them very much. I would find a different course of action, at all costs.
 
its kind of hard to put that quotation in perspective when we dont have pics of his sister.

Because the player is a starter and he didn't want the team to suspend him like they did Cog's.....IMO there is more than one player who willl not be named, physical abuse allegations will be next, my guess is, it's not one of the ones who came out in Cog's defense on Wed.....my guess would be Starks and our Pouncey...
 
this is a good thng because it keeps that players name out of the mudd. I am sure though some media geek will try to be the first one to bring it out once they find out.

Probably because there were a bunch of guys hanging out together all acting like guys do and goofing with each other.
 
They will reveal the name hours before MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL for maximum effect and the player will be suspended leaving us with a huge hole with noone to fill it...

I think that you're correct, but it reeks of being emotionally absent. This is another excuse to try to justify the sudden exit. Yes, he sees himself as the victim, but I am increasingly convinced that the real issue is his failure to succeed in the left tackle position. There was no need to reveal any of the disgusting conversation. It reinforces that he was bullied.
I am interested to learn if Martin was a loner away from the team? If he avoided relationships. Has anyone seen anything on this?
 
I am sure the Martin team is gathering today to figure out who they should pin this quote on. Reason they didn't say who, is because I don't think they know yet.
 
Most people here have made assumptions that it was a text or VM but in their statement they said it was a
"comment" and they probably have no proof because its just heresay. If they put a name behind the comment then that person could absolutely sue for defamtion of character.

The comment could be 100% made up. At this point I could care less as many have said that language doesn't surprise me as something that was said in a locker room or on the field
These are smart lawyers that are playing a game of chess. I just hope we are not playing checkers
