why do dolphins critisize every player

and every move that the team makes ? i am just curious as to why dolphin fans are so hard to please . exp. #1 a pro bowl cb comes to the team people complain then people complain about people complaining? cant we all be freinds and root for the team ?
i am completely confused and i am board so i though i would ask why we myself included are so hard to please. is this due to a serious morale problem with the fanbase or are still sufering from wannyisum and sabanissum?:cooldude: :boohoo: :( :rolleyes2
 
What are you talking about? Who is this pro-bowl cornerback you speak of?

If I had to take a guess at answering your question, it could be because the team hasn't done jack the past few years. A lot of "big" additions have failed completely. It seems to me that most people are generally pretty positive about our acquisitions at first, and then turn on them if they don't pan out (which is natural). As long as we don't overpay for a player I'll root for him as soon as he comes on board. Not really sure what this thread is supposed to be about...
 
Dont look at it in such a bad light...Everyone is a fan and is entitled to their opinions. We criticize well.... because we can. Why not? It doesnt make us less of a fan. I think everyone just wants the team to succeed and it results in everyone being overly analytical.
 
i cant speak for others, but it has something to do with over 30 + years of mediocrity and disappointment, just me opinion on why the Fins Fans base is so tired of the endless b.s year after year.

So you consider a fan someone who just goes with the flow regardless of whether you feel a player is good for the team or not?

I agree that the criticism of players goes to the extreme and that with some the comments near special ed status at times.

Having said that, honest evaluation and informed discussion on the postives and negatives of a player and the positive or negative impact that player will have on your team is normal.

As for Phin fans being hard to please? Give it a rest. The fans of any team do the same crap.

You mean "Dolphans", and we want to be the best. Superbowl champs and all. A little derisve commentary is necessary now and again. Now, to take it to the level that some posters do, that's just obsessive mania.

Half the time i can hardly believe its a dolphin fan saying this stuff... not quite like the fans i meet at Dolphin stadium they all kick ***!!

Look at it this way. It is kind of like the New York City. Not so much nice to each other, but you say anything bad about them, they will all make a united front and attack. This board is the same way. We can talk crap but it is our team. We have a 'right' to do this. But watch what happens when someone who is a fan of a different team comes in here. We can have a CPep sucks thread going on and everyone is agreeing and a bills fan can come in and agree and all the sudden CPep becomes a god. Its that kind of a thing so it makes sense.

Hard to please? Are you kidding? Fins fans are the most tolerant and suffering fans on the face of the planet.

And as far as being easily pleased, there really hasn't been much to be pleased about. When is the last time we were in the playoffs? When is the last time we won a playoff game? And up until Nick suddenly departed at the end of last season, most here were defending him to the hilt.

IMO, Fins fans don't have standards that are too high, their standards aren't high enough.
 
well I am moderately hard to please but i am like a couple you who said we havent done anything in 30 years and i have to say that i am disapointed in how many bad drafts that we 've had. i know during the wanny years it was his drafts that i hated the most but things are turing around .
