Why do people want Brees?

It's just not today, this guy is mediocre at best. You look at the Washington game 2 weeks ago and now today's game and sure they might win both but not because of him in-spite of him. He just isn't a very good player. He is slightly better than Jay Fiedler.

a "great" QB........then the definition of a "great" QB has slipped greatly. You look at Brees in big games and he comes up way short. Vs the Jets last year in the playoffs ring a bell!

i think Brees is a good QB, not a great one.

Brees is a Pro Bowl QB, took time to find his game, but the system is there and he's working without a true #1 WR. He's struggling today vs Indy and he struggled vs the Redskins. These are GREAT defenses. Consistently a very good QB for 2 seasons. If he was "slightly better than Fiedler", why would they be willing to deal the Fin Heaven "hero QB"?
