Why do so many people think we throw the season if we start Moore?

We are not throwing the season with Moore. But let's be for real, he's only gonna win the same amount of games as THIll, maybe one or two more, but I even doubt that. May as well use this season to make sure Thill is not the guy or is the guy.

1 or 2 games wouldn't have made a difference last year either...

RT has lost 4 of 5.
At this rate this translates 3-4 wins.
RT would be fortunate to beat 5 teams in this league.
If Moore starts a couple games and stinks it up, we will have all the answers about the RT and Moore that we need.
Both will need to go.

If it were baseball he would get that win. He came in first quarter and played most of the game and I don't think we were winning when he came in. Basically saying he's 7-3 in last 10 games were he either started or took the vast majority of the snaps.

then you should also give him the loss against San Diego in 2011 which makes him 7-7 as a "starter" with no wins against a winning team

its ok, u will come to grips with the fact that our offense is better with moore than tannehill when the change is made hopefully.

I do not not think that word means what you think it means.

And before you spew more "facts", Tannehill can lick my taint.

I really think 1-2 games could be enough to make the playoffs.

Dude, please, that was last year. This year we are a 6 win team and maybe with Moore you win 7 or at best 8. Again my point is that we go nowhere with either unless Thill plays well and improves down the stretch

Hahaha Moore winning us 10 games Hahahaha

Why do you say 'we are a 6 win team? You may think we are a 6 win team. But then i have to ask you how did you come to this conclusion?
Last year we were 8-6 with the feelers out for a playoff spot. We ended up 8-8. We have not lost anybody who would make a major impact.
We improved our OL. We added some talent to our WRs. We added a good RB. We have a new exciting OC. A new exciting offensive playbook.
Tannehill has 2 full seasons under his belt. If anything just by default we should be better than 8-8.

Now we can argue that we still have to fill some holes and our defense is not perfect by far but nevertheless the defense gave us a chance in both losses. We just didn't score.

What makes you think that we are only a 6 win team?

The coaching staff, the way are playing, losing to KC and the Bills, and did you take a look at the rest of the schedule? I say 6 to 7 wins at best

What did you think before the season started? How many wins did you think we might get?

I thought Thill and the new offense would come out swinging and we would surprise some teams. I really thought Thill was gonna turn the page out of the gate. I was thinking 9 very possibly 10 wins if things went our way. But watching the regression in week two and three we are in for some more of that this year with this schedule. We'll win a tough and a big one then I'm sure we'll have some more let downs. It's the makeup of this team, and it's been like this for years. Not turning the page this year unfortunately

Fair enough. But in all of this what is the one unchanged variable (besides Philbin) from the previous season?

Anyone who thinks Moore is the better QB should stop following the team. Hell, it's time to stop watching football if you truly believe Moore is a better QB than Tannehill.

I talked to Matt Moore's mom, even she prefers Ryan Tannehill.

What makes you think that we are only a 6 win team?

Because their boy isn't cutting it right now. They are an angry, angry bunch. If Moore actually creates a spark for this offense they will stew in complete misery since he'd theoretically be playing better than their false golden boy and also because of some fictitious franchise saving draft pick we would no longer be getting.

So ya, let them stew man. It's actually quite comical.

Let's also not forget it was a different offense.
How many playoffs did Matt Moore lead Carolina to.
No team has wanted to have Matt Moore as their long term an but somehow he is the solution to. All our problems

Starting Matt Moore is not throwing the season, it is throwing the next 3 seasons. It is giving up and starting over. The QB, HC, OC, DC, and much, much more are gone. And guess what? There is no guarantee that the next guy will work. I say give Tannehill and the coaching staff the season. If the coaching staff gives up, they are gone. They had the entire offseason to make their choice. They made it. If they admit they were wrong after 3 weeks, they should all be fired. All of them.
