Why do we always play the Texans?

It seems like we play them every year. Why is that? They aren't in our division.
 
because we usually finish in the same position as them within our divisions and thats how they match up the teams when scheduling. for example, you see the pats have been playing the colts a lot the past decade because they finished 1st in their divisions
 
A better post would have stated...

"Why do we always get wacked by the Texans?"

We need to beat them 10 times straight just to get back to even...They live to whip some Miami tail-fin.
 
In 2006 and 2009 we play them because of the scheduling rotation when it is our turn to play the entire AFC South. In 2007 and 2008 we played them because in each of the previous years we both finished in last place.
 
I Hate The Texans. And The Former Um Standout Always Kills Us.! "andre Johnson" Um Players Are Always Eager To Come Back Home And Beat The Dolphins And Have Good Games Vs Us. I Guess There Jus Mad The Team They Grew Up Cheeing Didnt Draft Them.lol

I'm sure it's been answered already, but...

In 2006, the AFC East was matched up with the AFC South, so they played everybody in that division that year. Last season, Miami played Houston because they finished in last place in 2006, as did Houston.

Same with last year (yes, despite winning 8 games, Houston finished fourth in their division).

Lol, we've only played them four times.
 
We become Willy E Coyote and the Texans become the Roadrunner whenever we play them. You know it's not going to end good.
 
Thank God We Play The Ravens And Not The Texans This Week.lol J.k.
