For the last few years, I have really started to question why I continue to support the mediocrity I see year in and year out in Miami. I am no fair weather fan I promise you that. I watch every single game from start to finish, go to games as often as I can, and have spent a small fortune on Phins merchandise throughout the years, yet what do we get for this unwavering loyalty? The garage we are watching today week in and week out and year in and year out.

Would you continue to go to the same restaurant week after week if the service and food was garbage?
Would you continue to by the same brand clothing if you weren't satisfied with the quality?
Would you continue to buy the same car if you were please with it's performance?
Would you continue to go to the same barber if you were disappointed after each visit?

So I pose this question? Why do you never give up on the Phins? What makes sports teams so different from other products we support with our time and hard earned money?

Don't!

I have season tickets and I'm not going to anymore games this season, nor am I giving away or selling my tickets. In fact, I am going to offer to purchase more tickets in my section to ensure its empty for the rest of the season.

If we all band together and buy 1 ticket each game we can empty at least 60% of that stadium and show this team that we refuse to support this garbage. I think it'd be a worthy investment. This franchise deserves to lose a ton of money this season.

We need our home games to look like Miami vs. Bethune Cookman

Better yet.... Gonna sell my Pats tickets to their fans. Our team DESERVES to be embarrassed as much as possible.

It's our team. It's like family.

Hmmm, maybe we can bring Steve Ross in for an intervention.

Because we are masochist.

Because Sundays would be no fun...you could just switch your allegiance to another team, but it won't mean a damn thing to you when they win. This team blows ass, and it has my entire life, but its kind of like watching your really stupid son go through school and barely scrape by with C's..but you still hold out hope that he will one day get his head out of his ass and do something about it. That day does not appear to be on the horizon, but something good is bound to happen in the next 50 years of my life....and hopefully by then I can look back on this ****ery and think "They finally made me proud"...but until then, we ****ing blow and I feel nothing because that is what I expect from them.

I'm sort of done with the team and with football in general. I really don't care anymore. If they get good again, where you can watch a game (like you can with Rodgers or Brady or Watt) and be genuinely impressed or able to appreciate the game, then I'll become more of a fan again.

Bottom line: There's no shame in being a bandwagon fan. That just means you value your time more than those that would sit and waste their lives waiting on some vicarious pipe dream to come true. You can't have a football team where the fans have more heart than the players. If everyone was out there playing their asses off like Jarvis Landry does, where it was actually something to watch and appreciate their collective effort, it would be different. But when we got these guys walking around waiting for their post-game paycheck, it's frankly not worth my time. Nor should it be worth yours or anyone else's.

The Dolphins have epitomized disappointment.

I said boycott this **** last week. Glad I slept in instead of watching this ****.

I have slowly been leaning toward this going on the last ten years. I seem to care a little less and less each year. I used to live and breath Dolphins all year long but it's got to the point now that I almost totally forget about football once the season is over.
