why do we need another WR?

in my opinion signing TO would be a waste......we have good WR's: chambers, booker, welker, and mcmike. why dont we spend our money and get some good OL and DB help. i think TO is a great player, but if hes a head case then saban will look like an idiot. why take the chance, and by the way, WHO THE HELL IS GOING TO THROW THE BALL TO HIM!?!?
 
Chambers isn't even a good receiver compared to T.O's playing skill. (not antics just playing skills)
 
The majority of TO's catches are crossing routes where he just out powers the DB. He does not run a fly route on every single play!!
 
i agree. our WR corps are good. chris is breaking out, and booker is a consistant option. he has great hands, and is a good #2. welker is an awesome slot. if anything, i wanna see more wes, and signing To will surely rid that.

i guess the good thing would be that TO will get doubled and CC will still do well if not better. see moss going to oakland and jerry porter doing well.
 
T.O. is a guy who can send us skyrocketing to the next level. its as simple as that. Reguardless of how you feel about him, he did what he promised in philly. He promised the fans a Super Bowl. And he brought the fans a super bowl. He almost single handedly won it for them too.

But they didn't win...and thats when things went wrong. Hes a cancer, yes, but he did what he promised. and if the super bowl was a one man contest, he'd be wearing a shiny ring right now, because he was easily the best player in that game.

Just because you like your local gas station's coffee.....doesnt mean you shouldnt try starbucks.
 
i would love to have TO here too, thats not my point.....do we not have other problems we need to address before we bring TO in........we need oline help and DB help, and dont forget that we have the best running game in the nfl, shouldnt we concentrate on being a power running team, and once again, who is going to throw the ball to TO?

Saban is a great head coach if u have the guts to take back a player that quit on the team u got guts buts for him to be a contributer and for him to earn the respect of the other players thats great. So if saban wants a good number one reciever he should sign TO, hes got the skills and saban would keep him under control because hes a dicsipinarian like Bill Parcells and look what parcells did to keyshawn johnson. ALso TO would be good here because he is like 32 and only has a year or two left and if he wrecks our team in that amount of time he wont EVER get a job anywhere else. plus hes got a lot to prove.
 
does anybody think we should be spending our money on players that we actually need?

booker is a good reciever but he lacks speed and not that great in run support with TO u get the complete package
