why do we not wear the aqua jerseys anymore ?

I am not griping but I have been trying to put together a dolphins shrine and collecting players photos But it seems like the team hardly wears the aqua jerseys anymore ? and even the team of the 70's rarely have the aqua jerseys.

I mean it seems like we wore the aqua jerseys a lot when Jimmy was the coach then then the idiot cam had the all white look for every game.

Mental Note

has anyone ever noticed the bicolor jersys that the Cardinals , Titians and Cowboys wear. How would a teal and white jersey look ? just asking that is all .:ponder::foundout:
 
I guess you missed the Indianapolis and San Diego games, and the game in NY this year.

We wear aqua at home for night games (except for the occasional orange night).. And wear aqua on the road when the other team chooses to wear white.

We wear white during home day games because it reflects the sun/heat.

It's rather simple really. Even the Chargers opted to wear white at home this year (against us) because they were expecting it to be hot there at that time of year.
 
Wish we could break out the secret weapon and wear the undefeated orange this weekend.

When Pittsburgh wins their next 2 . . . and we win our next 2 . . . u will see us in Orange . . .in primetime . . . when they flex our game against Pitt for the playoffs.

Sounds good but there are no prime time games week 17. All game are day games the last week of the season so there are no advantages going into the playoffs.
 
i know why, ive been told its the heat dark color atrracts sun, we may wear it in january, shula would wear it in january
 
Most teams have the solid color jersey as their home jersey, so when we are on the road we are forced to wear white, but our home jersey is mostly our white jersey because of the extreme heat in S. Florida. We where Aqua or Orange at night. My favorite jersey is the orange. I wish we could it wear it this weekend, as I am going to be breaking in my orange Ricky Williams jersey for the first time.
 
Believe it or not we have worn the aqua more this year than we have in years past. I think that there was one year recently that we didnt wear them at all or maybe like once.

The general rule is white jersey/white pants at home during the day, aqua on white at home at night (with the exception of the orange jersey game this year), and white on aqua on the road. Obviously if the opposing team chooses their white jersey at home, that would put the phins in their aqua on white combo, which has been the case a few times this year.

Nah this is wrong . . . they don't schedule a primetime game for week 17 because they want that primetime game to mean playoffs . . . which is why Denver/San Diego got flexed last year into the 8:15 time slot . . . the best game with playoff implications will be the game that is flexed.

We would have been flexed last year if the Jets didn't choke.
 
As long as they don't wear the aqua pants with the aqua jersey's (like they've done in the past)

so ghey...
