What the hell! This cost us the game last week, and almost cost us this one. We obviously rattle quarterbacks when we pressure them, so why are we always just rushing our d-line in the 2nd half? It makes NO sense to me. No DB is going to cover a receiver for 5-6 seconds.

I asked about that in another thread also. It is like we come out in the second half an just stop putting any pressure on the QB. I don't get it.

We've gotta get Cam Wake some playing time. The pass rush in the 2nd half is non existent.

That, and we just flat out need to stop thinking our d-line is a 4-3 d-line. They are all 290+ pounds. What the hell is the coaching staff thinking that we're going to get a consistent pass rush just rushing those guys? I was absolutely surprised to see Starks getting to Sanchez.

It just isn't going to happen as long as JP and JT are healthy...even though right now, I don't think JP is showing that he deserves to be out there.

This is true. The first half are D looks great.. The second half of these last two games they kinda fade out..

I cannot beleive people do not figure this out.

They run quicker routes and get rid of it faster.

Besides, Starks made Sanchize pay in the end.

We actually need to go into coverage more when the game starts turning like that and just let our DL get to the QB.

I have noticed that when we have a 3 down line, we are successful. I have not seen us get burnt yet in that scheme.

There were at LEAST 4 plays where Sanchez had all the time in the world to throw, he even had a bunch of time on the last play, be he was just an idiot. I don't understand why we should be asking a secondary that has already been awful in coverage, to cover guys for 5 seconds step for step?

We don't show up at all in the 4th quarter. Every single game I cringe in the 4th because I know an implosion is coming. Sparano needs to fix this problem immediately.

What is that you say? We've gotten burned rushing 3-4 men all year long. I'll use the Saints game as an example. We blitz in the 1st half, successfully getting to Brees, and cause Turnovers. The 2nd half we stopped blitzing and Brees picked our pathetic pass defense apart. We NEED to blitz more often. Whether we blitz or not, our secondary will still get shredded apart. Might as well blitz every time and hopefully get some TO's and sacks to put the team in long 3rd down situations. Our pass defense sucks, I can't say it enough.
