Why does AJ feeley Deserve another chance at starting? He failed last season

A.J. should get a chance to start, because Gus is not very good.
Gus has not done anything as the starter, has shown absolutely nothing in his 2 starts, Feeley got what 7 passes as the starter and hit on 4 of them, with no ints. Ferotte had 32 passes hitting 13 of them, with no Ints as a starter.

Feeley Starting:
completion %58
Yards per attempt 5.0
TD's 0 on 7 pass attempts

Gus Starting:
Completion %41
Yards per attempt 4.3
TD's 0 on 32 pass attempts

Now tell me why gus should be starting.....

there are tons of qb's out there w/ better potential than AJ. Srub or not, Berlin seems to have better potential than AJ based on those 2 preseason games. Why not have Berlin play w/ the 1st or 2nd team and compare him to AJ?

David Garrard has over a 100 QB rating this preseason. Maybe you should trade for him and let him compete with Losman.

Im sorry.. the jury is still out on AJ.... Personally i dont want to sacrifice wins for develpoment. AJ has been around long enough.. nad hasnt take full advantage of the opportunity invested in him. he really has to play the lights out for me to feel comfortable with him.

I want the best QB in the game.. the best QB period. I wonder who the players believe in?

Gus was given the job, there was no competition, Feeley had exactly 7 passes as a starter gus had 32. Gus has not looked any better in practise than feeley in any articles that I have read. I thought it was Feeley's Job to lose, but in fact it was already given to Gus, unless feeley played lights out.
Gus had one game where he completed over 50% of his passes and guess what that was as a backup, where he's comfortable. In the 2 games he started under 50% completion rate, that's not even as good as Feeley, so why should he start.

Hey JR welcome back...

one question....

How would Feeley perform in Indianapolis? with an OL and RB and probably the best set of WR's in the league?

His girlfriend is hot.

What do you care? You have your own QB problems, worry about that 1st!

haha you people dont know how to stay on topic... were did i say no one had better potential than AJ?

and no way berlin has better potential than AJ, AJ was drafted in the 5th round when he didn't even play most of his college career because of the injury... berlin started at the premier program in NCAA football and he didn't get drafted...

now why would that be? because professional scouts (not your or me) saw something in him, whether you believe it or not... our previous regime (though not the best) lead by rick spielman though not a good GM, a noted GREAT talent scout felt he could be a good QB...

He made a lot of horrible mistakes last season that made me vomit. I don't want to see another season of him throwing interceptions for touchdowns. He actually helped our opponents more than he helped our team.

Hell, look at Jay Fiedler. Didn't we give him plenty of chances already?
Sorry but Danny would have had crap numbers with the O-line playing "jail-break" almost every play last year...Bad post.

Every year some 4th string QB destroys some 3rd team Defense and gets a little love from Football folks. Luke McCown tore it up in preseason last year as the 3rd string (105.5 preseason rating) then started 4 games in the regular season and had a 52.7... Welcome to the 1st string NFL Defenses...

He doesn't have JP's "potential". If you want to go by rating ,Shane Mathews was the highest rated qb last year, The fins shgould've grabed him instead of Gus.

Get w/ the program will ya! :yell:
