I'm a broke college student. I've been shopping around for tickets for tomorrow night's game vs Carolina and it's ridiculous.

How can the Dolphins justify a person paying 50 dollars for an upper deck seat for the preseason on Ticketmaster? That's not including parking ($25) and miscellaneous purchases (alcohol to drown sorrows, food, merchandise if any)

StubHub has tickets for 5 dollars, but they usually tack on a 15-dollar service charge and then some extraordinary amount for FedEx shipping ($20+) so it breaks about even with Ticketmaster.

Preseason is pure profit for the Dolphins. Can't they throw us fans a bone and slice the prices? (the answer to that question is no, but one can dream)

You think they would offer up something for preseason at least. Took my Daughter to her first game last year (Steelers game) and it was a shocker to my wallet at the end of the day and that did not include airfare!

It is crazy, but go on a ticket broker site and people usually dump them cheap. I got lower level tickets in the corner for 7 bucks plus all the crap fees. I don't know about Carolina or Miami, but they were cheap here in Atlanta.

Because money hungry millionaires and billionaires realize that Demand heavily outweighs Supply when it comes to the NFL.

Short answer - they charge exorbitant prices because people are willing to pay it.

Wow! They practically give the tickets away here in Buffalo. I can but them on craigslist for around 10-15 dollars a piece.

just print the tickets electronically from Stub Hub . . . don't they have a Will Call option?

Just had 2 tickets for 22 bucks after the fees, electronic print out.

I went to a Buffalo/Miami game a few years ago and got a pair of seats on the 10 yard line five rows up for $50 a piece. Not only that but i even bought them on the Bills website.

I bought 4 Tickets for a total of $27 for Atl vs Mia last week. Found them on ebay and seats were pretty good.

I went to a pre season game like two years ago at fed ex field and I think I only paid like 15 bucks
