I'm telling you, I can feel it...

I'm eager to see Brent Grimes vs. Steve Smith...

Cam Newton made the Patriots look silly...

And that D is stingy...

And yet Teddy Ginn seems like he will have a chance to show us up for all the flack when he got drafted.

No one in our secondary has his type of speed... Brent Grimes will be on Steve Smith... Dimitri Patterson will probably get hurt on the third play of the game... leaving Nolan Carroll(who has been solid this year) and Jimmy Wilson... I just hope Reshad Jones destroys him on a hit to slow him down a bit.

I am worried about their power running game...we cannot stop the run anymore. A hot Cam Newton. A tough Cover 2 that demands a QB look off targets and RT does not do that. Distractions all week from a NFL investigation...and I am sorry, the Dolphins are simply poorly coached. Those are my worries.

Nolan Carroll v Ted Ginn is a pretty decent matchup really. Both are not really good technique players, neither have a really high football IQ, many times both are out of position, and while Ginn is obviously faster Nolan is pretty darn fast himself.

LaFell is the one we have to worry about on the Panthers passing game. Guy benefits from Smith taking the best DB and safetys helping on Olsen. Kinda like our Gibson was doing.

Tolbert could give us fits.

Nolan Carroll is a better player than Ted Ginn. He'll hold him in check.

Don't tempt fate on this one.

Unfortunately, I have a sense that Nolan may do an ok 'solid' job on Ginn for most of the game until one momentary lapse/slip & Ginn takes it to the house which seems to be the common theme of his recent play.

I actually think its unfair for the coaching staff to put Nolan in the game for such long periods. He's no starting corner, but does an ok cover job. Ultimately he gets shown up because he's simply not that good enough to be a shut down corner, so why continually play him in that role (this seemed to also happen before our secondary injuries).

Because it seems like every time we face one of our cast-offs, they up their game.

Hate to say it, but I miss Ginn (and his family). It's nice to have the type of speed, especially on Special Teams where we have zero threats. I still remember that Jets game where he single handedly beat them with 2 KO returns. I know he wasn't the game changer at the WR position like we all felt the 9th overall pick should've been, but I would welcome him back in a heartbeat. Having said all that, I hope we kill 'em and seize control of the final playoff spot!

The last player I am concerned about playing the Panthers is Ted Ginn.

Give me some of the drug you took!!!!! Nolan Carroll is getting beat like a drum on almost every play when we don't apply pressure to the QB.
