That Beck is passing McCown in practice. Bringing in Chad is a good thing. If Beck beats him out than he beat out a real quarterback and maybe Beck is the future! If Chad beats out beck we are still better off having Beck as the #1 backup than McCown. Nothing is given to you in the NFL. I hope we bring in Chad and I hope that Beck shows everyone HE is the guy!
 
I've been saying I'd like to see these kids develop as a long term 1 & 2 for this team. I really don't care which one has which slot, but it would be nice to have that aspect settled for years to come.

I think people realize it. It's just that some fans seem to fall in love with a player and they just want that guy to win the competition. I really don't care who wins just as long as we find our QB of the future.
 
Chad could not beat anyone out. Noodle arm must stay away.
 
Because Beck is too old for a Madden dynasty, and didn't play for a national collegiate power, thus nobody likes him.

I dont know how you can say that...Mccown was up all last week while Beck was down all last week. This week Beck has been up and they havnt even practiced a full week like the last. So how does that make Beck ahead of Mccown? If anything they equally suck.
 
Read it here first. If CP gets signed, Beck is g-o-n-e.

No doubt, but thats why NFL Quarterbacks aren't evaluated through five games. Otherwise Troy Aikman, John Elway, Terry Bradshaw and everyone's favorite QB Brett Favre would have been out of the league a long long time ago.

And for every one of those, theres a Todd Marinovich, Akili Smith, AJ Feeley, Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf, etc.
