I think the problem was injuries and players. You pepole always find a lame way to post a billion fire Philbin threads. This reminds me of people that study the Titanic. New thing why the ship hit the iceberg is because of a mirage at sea. To me that's a bunch of BS. The boat hit a iceberg and sunk. That's it. Stop adding BS to it.

So what I mean. We don't have good players on this team. Only keepers are Landry, Alberts, James, Jones, Jenkins, Grimes, Pouncey and Wake... Rest are all mediocre or crap. Your blaming Philbin is not nearly has bad as having a QB that can't throw a 20 yard pass. Running Backs never having 100 yard games. Wide receivers that can't catch. Worst line backing core in football. What can a coach do with all this. Are you gunna sit here and tell me Jim Harbaugh will turn Wheeler and Ellerbe into good players. Your out of your mind.

All we need is some key players. I, ll give Tannehill 1 more year. Make or break. If he ain't looking like a Phillip Rivers type. He is done. Next i,ll draft a linebacker with our 1st pick in the draft. 2nd round I'll go running back. Miller is a solid 3rd down back in the NFL. Not a starter. Then in free agency I'll get the best guard available and also the best Wide Receiver from cap money we can afford. Not saying top WR. its obvious we can't afford it. Hartline, Gibson are done , and no need to keep them on this team. Wallace is also not good catching the ball either.

Philbin does need to do a better job. He ain't a good coach and I do agree. But to blame all this on a coach with a average team is BS... That's like saying Bill Belichek can take a college team, and beat a professional team. That's BS.

Please explain to us, since when is a HC not responsible for the players he puts on the field? You might want to also pay attention to Phailbins game management.

Also did you see the look on Phailbins tiny little face when Odrick yelled at him. Does that look like the look of a leader to you?
 
Because the team has consistently come out flat and/or failed to finish in big games ... or even most games. Because the team doesn't play tough. Because he still can't seem to master the intricacies of basic clock and time out management. Because these are all problems we've seen from Day 1 with him and we're now in Year 3.

That may have been the most mind boggling thing I saw yesterday. I kept looking to see if Thomas had been taken out of the game on every offensive possession and there he was every time...lining up without a clue. The guy has no business in the NFL, how you continue to start him is beyond me. He must be a great practice player cause I can't for the life of me figure out why John Benton would let him trot out there with his O-line unit.

Philbin was clearly outcoached yesterday. As the Ravens coaching staff started making in-game adjustments we kept doing the same thing...it was clear to me they had caught on to the zone read, kept coming with blitzes mostly over Dallas Thomas' side and offensively they saw the CBs playing 7-10 yards off the WRs so they threw quick slants after quick slants...a reason Flacco completed 76% of his passes. Then after the defense adjusted they went to running the ball. Ravens coaching staff just put on a clinic to our coaching staff. We never had a chance. Unfortunately in-game adjustments are not a strong suit for this coaching staff.

Never said he was good. Why does he get blamed and mediocre players don't. That's why I stated. Can Jim Harbaugh make Wheeler and Ellerbe into sold players. absolutely not
 
Philbin sucks. I'm just saying only reason we didn't make the playoffs is because of lack of coaching and players . To blame this all on one coach is nonsense

Why is he still starting wheeler instead of giving one of the younger backers a chance? Because he sucks and deserves blame

Clearly you haven't been paying attention. Jim Harbaugh can do all things here...and so can Rex Ryan who gets no blame for his 2-11 squad in New York. It's not Rex's fault they drafted Geno...Rex would have preferred to draft another defensive player, as a matter of fact if Rex could play his defense all the time he probably would.
