So many NFL games including Dolphins games come down to this: Did the ball cross the goal line or not.
Why does the NFL not put cameras on the Goal line? In 1st and goal they are near there, but in a long play you never get a goal-line shot.
In horse racing, camera on finish line, in Nascar, camera on finish line.
I think there should be permenant cameras on both sides of both goal lines. In long plays the Refs are usually 20 yards behind the play trying to catch up and are signaling TD from the 15. What if a player gets tackled right at the goal line? A Ref wont see if he really crosses it. That play in Dallas where the Receiver flipped the ball behind him, the best angle they had was like at the 20 yard line. On Punt and Kick off returns, you NEVER get a goal line shot. It just seems like a easy thing to do, that they dont do.
