Why don't we ever use 5-2 scheme on Defense?

I feel like this would fit us well IMO we only really have 2 good linebackers in Jenkins & Misi....and I for one would like to see Phillips on the field along with Suh & Mitchell

I honestly would like to see this scheme more for our team

We should go with a 7-0, because our linebackers play like they aren't there anyway.

When you going to employ it on 1st down. Nature is most teams in todays NFL run 4-2-5 anyway because of the offenses today are typically in 3 wide.

So a 5 man front is essentially us less as a base defense
