Why don't we practice at night?

Was watching NFL Total Access the other night and saw that Jax practices at night to avoid all the heat down here in FL. It actually sounds like a good idea to me because the heat down here can wear you out pretty quick, especially if you have to practice for 16 games out of the year for it.

I would want to practice in the same conditions I'll be playing in. If jax is not ready to deal with the heat and humidity that comes with playing during the day, then look for some 4th 1/4 breakdowns.

We don't have a single night game all year, we need to be prpeared for the heat of florida at 1PM

By us practicing in the afternoon time during the hot Miami heat, we will be used to it and that gives us a favorable advantage during the regular season time for all the opponents that won't be able to handle the heat. Definitely a good idea as long as all of our players are always watched closely and kept hydrated at all times, coaches emphasize that and there's always guys looking over to make sure to avoid heat exhausted, heat stroke, or dehydration. But honestly I do thinking practicing in the heat does give this team a favorable advantage and I really like the idea.

we do! We had numerous 7-9 pm practices this year!

practicing during the day is an advantage, but i dont see what a couple at night would hurt, but according to balls deep we do as well.:)

On all 2-a-days we had during training camp, the 2nd session was always held at night. Now that they're over though, and players are getting a day or two off after games... I don't really see the need for them anymore.
