Be a nice addition on short screens and quick slants and Bombs. I hate we don't get him in there.

Probably for the same reason Carroo hasn't seen the field. I don't think Gase is the genius he was made out to be. He seems lost out there and has absolutely no creativity with the play calling and game planning. It may be piling on but I also don't think he has a clue about how to make mid-game adjustments. He seems to define the definition of insanity.

Carroo done nothing. Gase really has a weapon in Grant. Kid is super fast and has good hands. Gase needs to figure out how to get that man 5 targets a game.

I'm not going to say Carroo is playing like a top 3 receiver, but I'm not certain Landry, Parker, Stills are either. I know that's blasphemy, but none can get consistent separation and none seem to be able to find dead spots in a zone. Note; that COULD be coaching. As for Grant, NFL history is full of very fast guys who played for no other reason than they were very fast. It forces changes on the D. If nothing else, Gase HAS to try something else. His current philosophy isn't working.

Agreed on Grant. He has to be used like Darren Sproles, especially with the way the Dolphins offense is pure dog****.

Wouldn't make sense to use him on the Jet Sweep Option? Seems like it would put a TON of pressure on the opposing Defense's edge and at least give the offense an extra beat or two - which MIGHT make a difference...:idk:

Also, if the Dolphins are hell bent on using the bubble screen, how about throwing them to Grant? Or at least use him as a decoy to keep the defenses honest.

I've been wanting the coaches to give Grant a few snaps every game for weeks now. I believe he's the one that can provide a spark but yet we're not using him. What exactly do we have to lose by giving him just a few snaps? Nothing else is working so try something different. People hated Sporano but I give him credit for trying something different his first year. Things were going bad so he went with the wild cat. Did it work forever? No but it worked for a while and it gave the team a spark and hope. The offense was having fun out there too. Right now the players seem dead out there.

Ozzy rules!!

Caroo hasn't really been given the chance and Grant should be used in the O. That what is puzzling, no attempt to move the ball using creativity with personnel we have on the roster. What do we have to lose, remember the wildcat, cripes, at least the plane ride home was productive for a while.

I think you nailed it. 1-4 and not even a remote chance of a playoff slot and almost no shot at .500. Now is the time to start taking chances. Try things that MAY NOT work because it doesn't matter now. Let's see what Grant, Carroo, Hewitt, and others have so off-season can be more productive. And, besides, the players will have some fun. I've had enough conservative/vanilla coaching.

I would like to anything different from what we are doing. Anything! Use 4 WR, Use Grant all over the field. Roll out RT. Have RT know what happens after 3 seconds not trying to find an open receiver. throw to the TE much more. H Back...ANYTHING

For Grant to get plays with the offense, he really needs to bulk up. Otherwise he's going to get flattened, like Pat White. If he can increase his bulk, he can be like Danny Woodhead.

Concur.

Last season Tannehill regressed IMO as the phins O was missing C Clay. Then, this off season, I said scat-back like Sproles is needed.

Though, I'd settle for a versatile RB... say Christian McCaffrey.

I liked how Dallas used Whitehead last year.

Similar to Grant, as he is a tad undersized, but is dangerous in open space.

Lots of sweeps, and short passes to get him the ball quickly.

Should do that with Grant.
