Trade Jason Taylor to a team that thinks their a pass rusher away from going to the Bowl for a 1st round pick!! You say I'm crazy, why? This team is at least 2-3 years away from doing anything and we need to start building now plus start getting rid of cap space to sign free agents. 2-3 years from now Miami will be asking JT to take a serious pay cut or flat out release him anyway.

While we're at it I'd dump Seau and Madison for as many picks as possible. Junior deserves a chance to go to a winner and I'm thinking it's a forgone conclusion Madison gets released in the offseason for cap reasons so why not get something for all of them now? I just don't understand why football GM's don't take this approach the way baseball GM's do? Let's get some picks and free up some cash for the future!!!

Trading people past June 1 accellerates their cap hit for their signing bonus. We'd be in a serious hole next year... that'd make it kinda hard to start building.

We should have done this before we tried to patch up the leaking dam by signing Marty Booker and Lamar Gordon.

they selling that good stuff down there in Atlanta.

Madison is here to stay. I think he has HUGE CAP HITS if traded or released.

Surtain & Knight could be traded. Surtain would get a really good pick come draft day. Toss in Ricky & Jay for a bag a chips and Miami will have a chance of getting 1 more win than this season........1-16........lol

Miami is looking like the bungles of the 1990's..........;(

Worst idea ever....

JT is a franchise player and a team leader....

Trading him would just piss everyone off, like me...

Why????? They're obviously not going to win any time soon anyway. Why not get something for him now when we'll only lose him in 2-3 years anyway?? Sorry I love JT too but we really do need to start thinking about rebuilding here.

Better yet, let's do this your way. We keep JT, you're happy because he has sacks and 2 Pro Bowls the next 2 years and in both years we don't even come close to making the playoffs. Better to keep him and over pay or build for the future with multilple younger players who are cheaper? How can't you see this would be best for the future?

Yeah Preda they are. At least I have some common sense here unlike you. You're right let's keep this defense in tact when we have no chance of doing anything for 2-3 years when we can start building for the future by getting rid of overpaid players who never produced anyway in the clutch . My god what was I thinking?

J. Fiedler, R. Howard, JT & 1st ......for M. Vick & D. Hall.

M. Booker, P. Surtain & S. Knight .......for K. Jones, B. Bailey & C. Rogers.

Then I woke up........lol.....and Miami traded a 1st for a backup Punter!!! I'm going back to sleep....lol..;)

Trade Taylor? Probably our best player? You are right, you are crazy.
Am I nub? Or I am I so sane you can't see it? This team is going nowhere fast and by the time we are Taylor will be winding down. Furthermore, I seriously feel JT is a little overrated any way!!!! Name one big play this guy ever made in the clutch when we absolutely needed it??? Hasn't happened. WE are way overpaying for him to be on a team that isn't even sniffing the postseason for a few years.

I realize that but I'm talking about clearing up cap space when we need it, 2 -3 years from now. By the way as for you're slogan, I'm telling Junior he's finishing worse than 8-8!!!!
