Why Ginn has started, but won't much longer

He had 11 receptions in the game, and you think he should not start. I do not get the logic.

Ginn is our most productive WR. He may not be as polished as Bess, but he demands more attention, and he's able to beat good CB's on a consistent basis. I'm not excusing him for his two non-plays on Monday, but he's still the best we have at WR.

I believe that Hartline will overtake Ginn next season. Hartline's size, quickness, and intangibles make me believe he can be a special player. And, if I hear one more poster write him off as another possession WR - in the mold of Camarillo - I'm going to snap.

Hartline hasn't done anything at any level to suggest he can take over for Ginn. The guy didn't even really produce in college and was considered a big reach in the 4th round.

Ginn's draft status has nothing to do with him starting. Especially when you consider when training camp began he was the third highest paid wide receiver on the team behind Wilford and Camarillo. Also, if Ginn is starting because of his draft status, why isn't Jason Allen starting?

If BP stays, he will not keep Ginn, IMO
Why do you think Parcells will not keep Ginn? Is it because YOU think he's soft? Is it because YOU don't like him? Is it because Ginn dropped that potentially game winning touchdown pass?

Parcells had two offseasons to get rid of Ginn and has yet to do.

With that said, if Parcells and Company does get rid of Ginn, I will probably be the first to say thank goodness because now we can stop with all these silly threads talking about how much he sucks.

force i do not think they will get rid of ginn,no way.his route running looks great.they could get another wr in the draft.maybe the kid from okl st.this would really open up the field, and the running game out of the i formation.we will be in different direction half way through this season, and the starting next season.they would never get rid the only deep threat on the team.even though he is not used that way now.

Thrown to 16 times 11 catches for 7 first downs.... I say we cut him cause he caint catch nor can he run (or his family) probly caint spell his name either . ..... I think this is another stupid thread. He catches that last pass and he's the second coming of Mark Clayton/Duper.

I'm done with the Ginn argument. It's year three.

I know, he's raw, so he can't be expected to win games.....

But at some point don't we hold him accountable?

I'm not even going to be my usual annoying self.

When is Ginn going to be Marvin Harrison, or all these other great WRs like what everyone predicted for year 3?

I know.

He's raw, so, he can't be expected to mature at that rate.

See, I already know the excuses.

I swear if Ginn has another 11 catch for 100+ yards game Im gonna flip if Sparano allows him back on the team bus. He should be cut on the spot if he produces like that again... :rolleyes2:

How about if he lets another game winner bounce off his hands again?

He could have 20 catches and 200 yards every game, but if he drops the game winner in each of those games, he's only good for fantasy football.

What if Ginn fails to show up the entire game but makes the game winning catch? Is he a hero or another David Tyree.

What if, what if.... who cares.

The facts are that he had 11 catches for over 100 yards, continued to get open and produce on 3rd downs.
